it's been a while here man. So.. on this day 23/5/2026, It was a wednesday morning and I was laying in bed, my wife Jummy had taken the kids to school and was then going for some 'Retail Therapy' with two of her friends. The house was quiet, as it would be for another four or five hours. I had woke up with a massive erection and with the house being so quiet I thought id treat myself to a nice slow wank.

But of course, my stupid heart won't let them. It's Wednesday, and I still can't get that damn cheek kiss from Law out of my mind. I can still feel his fingers on my face, and the warmth that spread through me as I stared into his eyes. I hate the confusion but love that I have anything to be confused about. How fucked up is that?

Monday was a bust as Jessie wasn't working that day as was Tuesday, but Alex was happy to see that her new friend was scheduled the next day. On Wednesday, Alex was feeling great after a good day at school and felt even better that Toni had stopped being so weird and concerned about things. That morning, her twin had remarked that the two of them had to get Bryce and Wade together again so that the four of them could play. That sounded delightful to Alex, of course, but knew that being able to find a time that all of them were free would be challenging.

Thursdays dragged at Everglades, and this one dragged more than any other Wes had endured. While he was used to there being fewer customers on these days, he usually didn't mind as much because it gave him plenty of time to play grab ass with Noel. Any other Thursday, Wes would have been praying for an empty bar, but today, he desperately prayed for Everglades to be full of patrons. The quietness would only make things more awkward with Noel. He had agreed to talk to Jake, but he had no idea what he would say to the man. The entire situation seemed stranger than fiction and Wes didn't do fiction.

Drew asks me. "It's Wednesday," I simply state and Drew nods in understanding. Little curious Cassandra lifts her dark brows. "What's Wednesday mean?" Before I have the chance to tell her that it's none of her business, Drew replies, "Every other Wednesday night, Crayvin here, has dinner with his parents." Cassandra's expression changes. Her eyes darken but flicker with a tiny spark and the corners of her thin lips curl upwards. "What?" I grunt, annoyed with the full-on smirk she now wears.

Then I locked the screen, placed the phone face down beside my glass, and looked back up at my friends. "Sorry, what were you saying?” Jenna picked up her sentence from wherever she'd left it, and I nodded along and let the conversation carry me forward. We had a thing on Wednesdays. Neither of us planned it, it just… happened. It started a few weeks back. One night he said he needed ice cream after a rough day, and I said I did too. We ended up at the small place near my building, sitting outside, talking until it got cold.

2 degrees Fahrenheit. I fumbled for my phone, intending to call for an ambulance. As it powered on, a deluge of messages poured in, all from Henry, reaching out from an unknown number, each text more anxious than the last, asking for my whereabouts. [Selena, why'd you block me? Why's your phone off?] [Wren mentioned you're overseas, is that for real? Did you really forget today was supposed to be our second 'I do'?] [Is it because of that mess with Melanie you're upset? If only Austin would fall for her seduction, she might be able to have her child. "Finn Jr. is a great idea, I guess." Bea joked around trying to tease Alpha more. When he walks me to my door we stand there a moment longer than necessary, the way we always do now, and he says goodnight in a voice that means considerably more than that and I go inside and lean against the closed door and think about sweetheart and nearly home and the way he said both like they were things he’d been carrying for a while.
