Jamie had credited a lot of her information to a book titled Legends of the Werewolf. Lia had read and reread the notes her great-grandmother had handed to her in those last sad moments. Notes that told about generations past that came here from Romania and grew the pack. This had to be the book. Legends of the Werewolf. Surely there couldn't be two books with the exact same title.

You'll understand this more as you read the book! In addition, I only use the term 'werewolf' in this story but they are not the traditional lore that is 'cursed' or a 'beast'. They are more of shifters, like of lycans who can control their transformations from humans to wolves or vice versa. After our discussion about how the first Cursed Ones gained entry into Altair, I’m convinced that Werewolves are magical beings as well. If I’m successful in carrying out the ritual, it will prove once and for all that the shapeshifting ability of the Werewolves is indeed a form of magic, and they very much deserve to live in Altair like all other magical beings.
