Chapter 4: Deal with a Bully

Jason woke up in am unfamiliar bed, his body was back to normal and he was wearing an oversized T-shirt.

"I'm glad I'm not stuck in wolf form 24/7 that would be weird to explain to my mom" Jason sighed.

'creak' the door opened up and a girl with unruly bed head walked in

"Jason you're back" she said rubbing the sleep out of her eye.

"Hehehe yeah"(she still looks funny as hell when she wakes up) the boy laughed at the quirky nature of the girl.

"I'm sorry for... You know trying to kill you... I was just" Clara was cut off by Jason.

"No it's my fault, I followed you into the forest and got mixed up into this supernatural biz" said Jason.

"I'm going to do my best to settle everything".

"You won't have to do that alone, we'll cure you together... Just not at school which we have to go too now" she looks at a clock and quickly rushes out of the room.

"Wait what?! What about my mom?" Jason gets off the bed and looks for a pair of pants.

"Dad already told her about you staying over, and then said you'd be coming over more often to do some karate training" Clara explained Nas she entered the bathroom.

"Wow... Your dad has a story for everything" Jason smiles.

"Yeah I do, your lucky your mom is hot, if not I wouldn't even bother" a man wearing an orange and black jumpsuit passed behind the boy.

"Wowww! Hey that's my mom you're talking about" Jason states angrily.

"Don't test me wolf, I could send a single message and you'd be dead before Moon fall" Joseph points at an old telephone.

"Why you..." Jason hissed but backed off.

"Alright I'm out!, Jason go take a bath then wear these, I'll see you in school but remember don't interact with me in front of... You know" she said to Jason giving him similar brown and orange clothes like her father's.

"Yeah... By the way you look great" the boy noticed how her black dress really brought out the color of her hair and eyes.

"Ohhh... Yeah thanks" Clara sweeps a bit of hair away from her face and faintly holds back a smile.

39 minutes later

Jason was finally ready he was wearing special clothesade by shepherds to stretch and shrink to the body of the individual wearing it.

A black long sleeve top with an orange sleeveless jacket, and black trousers.

He also noticed in the mirror that his ash blonde hair had become more condensed and he looked more like a plain nature blonde now.

Clara had already left to school and he was soon to follow however.

"Hey Mr Knightley, if I scratch some or bite someone as a human, will they turn into a werewolf?" He asked curiously.

"No. Only your wolf form can turn others, or at least in a sort of hybrid state between the two" the man said while looking through his fridge for more beer.

"Hybrid state?" Jason looked at Joseph with even more curiosity in his eyes.

"You'll learn all of this later, now go to school before your mom gets mad at me... On second thought don't, I like her more when she's angry" Joseph gave a perverted smile but instantly Jason had ran out of the house and was heading straight to school.

New dawn high school

Class 9-B

May had brought a girl Jason hadn't noticed before to see him, she was dark skinned with braided hair that covered her eyes but somehow Jason knew she could see him.

She wore a lacy black dress and long skinny jeans, her fingers all had rings on them(which surprisingly didn't break the rules of the school)

"Jason as my vice president I want you to meet Lisa Ahmed, our class treasurer she's been a friend of mine since middle school so she's trustworthy" May spoke proudly of her friend.

"Nice to meet you new kid" Lisa's voice was rasty but had a strange strength behind it. "I have a feeling we're going to be good friends"

"Yeah... Me too" Jason said nervously.

The three spoke about random things for about 7 minutes before they headed for the door to go to Herbology class until.

"!!!!!!!!!!!" Jason had a strange feeling in his gut that mad him stop in his tracks as he grabbed May's hand suddenly.

"Jason... You oka..." 'Splash!!!!!' a paint bucket falls over and lands on the exact spot they would have been standing if Jason didn't stop them.

"Hey! Who did that! I'll report you to the teachers right now!" May runs to see who tries to prank them but the assailant had vanished.

"Seems like you're a targeted man Jason, how scary hehehehe" Lisa laughed a bit.

(What was that, it's like I felt danger coming and it froze me... Is this wolf Sense or something... Weird) the boy was too confused to think about who was targeting him.

Cafeteria

The mess hall of the school was huge with white tiles on the walls. They were 5 stalls with different women serving different kinds of meals Meaty, veges, dairy, fizzy and boiled potatoes....(weird).

May, Jason and Lisa sat on one of the numerous tables near the window.

"So, I saw you talking to the freshman queen Clara some days ago, are you two dating?" Lisa asked nonchalantly almost making Jason choke on his meatloaf.

"Subtle, real subtle Lis" May reprimanded her friend.

"I'm just curious... Maybe that's why he's being targeted" Lisa inquired.

"No we aren't dating" Jason stated red faced, "we're just childhood friends".

"Ooooooo, interesting tell me more"

Lisa inquired some more.

Jason however didn't tell her anything thing else, as they were walking out out of the cafeteria after their meal a boy from 9-A bumped into Jason and slipped something into his right pocket.

Jason put his hand in it and brought out a piece of paper.

{You and me, behind the school after class, show up or stop talking to Clara forever}

The boy knew exactly who had written the letter, and he knew exactly what to do.

"May I need a favor" he looked at the girl in glasses with a mischievous look on his face.

After class

Behind the school where the dumbster and trash were kept, a stinky place indeed Chris and a few other boys from class 9-A were there awaiting Jason's arrival.

Jason followed the instructions of the letter to T and came smiling.

"What are you smiling about loser?" Chris hissed.

"Nothing, just seeing you bring more people to face me cause you're scared is kinda funny" Jason blurted out.

"Won't be so funny when we beat you Black and blue" one of the backup boys said annoyed by Jason's attitude.

"Listen up Kid, stay away from Clara, fade into the background and don't cross me ever again" Chris said poking  Jason's chest.

"Hmmm let me think about it?... No! I'm Clara's friend, heck I'm her best friend and I'm going to rekindle our friendship here, if you're so threatened by it why don't you tell her how you feel?" Jason said.

"As if, she's pretty, but stuck up, only way she'd ever go out with me is if I destroy the competition, which is you" Chris raised his hand and Gave Jason a right hook to the face falling the boy down.

"And that's a wrap!... Ouch" Jason yelled holding the red cheek he had just gotten.

"What?!" Chris wondered what Jason was talking about until he saw some a window on the upper fall open.

The people peeping from the window were Clara, May, Lisa and Mr Harrison and that moment Chris knew he fucked.

"Striking the first blow, while the victim tried to resolve the matter... Oh boy the days of suspension are gonna be a landslide" Mr Harrison said taking down a note which he would give the principal.

"Chris, I never want to talk to you anymore and if you ever try to touch Jason ever again... I'll make sure you aren't just suspended" Clara said in a menacing voice.

"You... You freak! I swear! I'll get my revenge!" The bully yelled with fury.

"Good luck with that, I'll always be one step ahead of you" Jason tried to smile but his cheek hurt like hell.

Medbay

The nurse bandaged up Jason's cheek and may scolded him.

"You're so reckless, what if Chris had a plan to counter me from telling Clara and the teacher about the fight" she asked.

"We both know Chris isn't smart enough to think that way... Ouch!" Jason shouted as Lisa poked his cheek.

"I think I'm going to enjoy our time together Jason snow hehehe you're quite intriguing" Lisa laughed at Jason's pain.

Clara glanced at the trio having a scene... She felt as if she would be intruding if she went over to talk to the injured boy... However.

"Clara, you coming in?" Jason said waving his hand at the girl by the door.

"Um..... Okay" Clara was awkward at first but she walked into the medbay accepted by Jason and his friends
