Wesker Novels & Stories

It would quite literally be a house inside the Compound. I looked for Xander in our shared suite, and he wasn't there, so I went next door to his suite and knocked, not wanting to give Chef Lo Faso instructions if Xander had already done it. I didn't look for Elias, knowing he was still at work. Not finding Xander, I went downstairs to speak with the chef when I saw him walking toward us, talking to another tall, good-looking man. "Oh, Kalyssa!" Xander reached for me as he approached, and then kissed my cheek. "This is Gray Garza, Alpha Supreme of the Western Region. Gray, this is my betrothed, Dr. Kalyssa Carran, veterinarian."

He took off his jacket. "Did she recognise you? Did you?" Wesley asked the same question over and over. Axel shook his head and watched his assistant go haywire over a girl that he hadn't met in his life. "Wow, she really wants to know who the killer of her mum is?" Wesley asked in a sad reality settling tone. "Yeah and I don't have Time to play cop." Axel stood up and looked at the files on his table. "But you can, right?" Wesley asked a question he needed an answer too.

Wesley My head is a freaking mess. There have been countless unexplainable rogue attacks this week. Two pack members are already dead, and not only that, but Brooks Industries is launching a new phone this week. Since I’m both the Alpha of my pack and this company’s CEO, my plate is full. I’m drowning in responsibilities, yet all I can think about is my seductive secretary and our baby.

“My mate, Valerie Morozov.” “I can see the hunter’s badge around her neck, but I have to admit, after she tried to kill you, I am surprised that you would be willing to stand in front of her.” She said, and I frowned in confusion. Alessandro kept his eyes on the woman, his frown voicing out more than his words ever will, and taking in my confused gaze, the woman raised an amused eyebrow at me. “Do not tell me that you did recognize him, huntress?”

I said, and he scoffed, shaking his head. “You are a beta. You are not some kind of low rank wolf. There's no such thing as your personal life, just as there is no such thing as mine. Everything we do has to be watched and monitored. Why? Because we affect and influence those that are around us.” He said, pushing me back.

“A woman who has chosen hiding rather than family, you came to play the good guy?” “No.” I tilted my head. “I came to warn you.” His wolf bristled. “About what?” “You’re playing a cold game,” I whispered, stopping his wolf with a flick of my finger. “And you’re losing. You are just failing to see it.” The silence that followed was thick, suffocating even for them. Lorenzo’s voice dropped, dangerous. “To who?” “Xavier Blackthorn.” I locked eyes with him. “And Valerie. The Luna you’re underestimating more than anyone. The weak pawn that you think you can play.”

"She hates me. She could have found Maverick's dad, or she could have taken Maverick herself. I can't stand here waiting for someone to finish watching footage when I might already know where to look." He looked even more confused. "You know Maverick's dad? I thought you said—" "I lied," I cut him off. "His dad is Alpha Desmond of Blood Moon pack." Wesley's eyes widened, but he kept whatever reaction he had to himself, the desperation in my voice shutting him up. He turned toward one of the security officers. "Take her to her father's house. Stay with her. I'll remain here and make sure nothing gets disturbed." "I'll go with her," Iris said. Wesley gave her a grateful nod.

"You look stronger. The sickness has started?" I looked at him in shock, my hand unknowingly reaching over to cover my belly. “You knew? You knew that this would happen?” A thin smile spread on his face. It wasn't evil, just full of a wild certainty. "It was always a possibility. A very welcome one." “Who are you?” I managed to say, voicing out the words from my mouth loud, my voice shaking with anger and fear. “My name is Kael. I am the Alpha of the Shadow Moon Pack,” he said.

"Chika Whitmore. Vanguard commander for the Afolayan Dominion." Morgan repeated the name, her brow furrowing as if trying to decipher an encrypted code from a broken ledger. Tracy instantly stepped into the gap, her aura flaring to shield my position. "Commander Welch, this wolf operates under the direct protection of the Supreme Throne. If his scent has violated your perimeter codes, the error belongs to my unit."

Isabella asked, the feral, matriarchal instinct bleeding heavily through the ice in her voice. Helena swallowed a mouthful of metallic blood, her chest violently heaving. "He doesn't have a name, Isabella. Richard didn't raise a child. He forged an instrument of absolute kinetic trauma. His Vanguard designation is *Keres*... the spirit of violent death. He is ten years old, but his confirmed kill count for the Directorate is already in the hundreds. He feels absolutely nothing. If you breach that facility, he will not hesitate to put a hollow-point round directly through your stomach and kill the heir you carry now."
