Fucking great. The movie didn’t show interest to me anymore. I just stared blankly at the screen. I knew Sadie would never understand until she knew the whole truth, but if she did, she would just cost me my plan, she would just cause a hiccup, and I couldn’t let it happen not right now that I was too close to achieving the fruit of my years of work. I turned off the tv when the credit rolled. This was supposed to be our movie night. It turned out to be one hell of a huge fight.

“Yet you’re still talking to me.” I shoved another chip in my mouth to shut him up, eyes fixed on the screen. The movie ended in a blur of smoke and gunfire. Credits rolled across the screen, but neither of us moved. The storm outside had quieted to a steady patter, the kind that lulled the world into uneasy silence. Caleb’s voice broke it.

This was just from his hands and the closeness of his body, and I was a mess already. “Yes, baby.” He trailed kisses down my neck with his hands still doing justice to my boobs. “I don’t accept defeat.” “Tell me about your movie,” Shawn commanded. The protagonist killed herself at the end of the movie and Isabella could not stop crying. She held on to Angelo as her tears wet his jacket. Angelo realized that Isabella wasn't the only female crying and that the other females were with their partners who kept consoling them.
