White Cat Novels & Stories

Among the thick trails of smoke was a gray wolf. My eyebrows knitted together as I stared in confusion, and as I looked closer, I realized it wasn’t gray, but white. It had only looked gray because of the smoke, but its fur was actually snow white. A white wolf. That was a rare color to see indeed. White werewolves were exclusively female and usually highborn. It was a fur color reserved for royalty and nobility, and I had never seen a wolf that shade in person. Guests who had been trapped within the building followed the wolf, coughing as they stumbled out.

She suddenly said along the way. "Of course, what is it?" Scarlett glanced around like there would be someone behind them. It was pointless, tho. "Do you know of a wolf with white fur?" She lowered voice. Aria went into cogitation. "White fur?" She repeated. "Actually, white fur is usually possessed by some members from noble families. It's possessed by people with power, leadership, class. It's not regular. Why are you asking?" "Uh... it's nothing. I was just being... curious." Scarlett shrugged.

His gaze dropped from my face to my exposed shoulders. He pursed his lips as he took off his coat and draped the heavy cloth around me. “T – Thank you.” My head lowered but since it didn’t seat well with something inside me, I raised my head, looking up as I spoke. “You are a white wolf,” he said, ignoring my thanks. I nodded. “White wolves are rare.” I knew that already. Most Alpha wolves were black and other wolves were brown or multi-coloured – most often white and black.

And here every single wolf is white. “Do you like it?” suddenly a woman’s voice asks me from behind, making me startle. I thought that I am alone here. I looked at her and my heart stopped. It can’t be, but she looks just the way I’ve heard. Tall, slim, with white blonde hair long until her waist, braided and decorated with little shining stars. Her skin is so white and pure that you could say that she doesn’t have even a drop of blood in her system, and maybe she doesn’t. Maybe she is dead too…

I subconsciously stored it in some part of my brain where I knew I would be able to access it at some later date. Ethan looked away for a minute as if he was recollecting some thoughts. "I told you that I was going to be the alpha of the Domi Hills pack, right?" I nodded, I remembered him telling me that. "See, I don't know if you know this but there are special wolves on each of the six hospitable continents. They are believed to be the direct descendants of the moon goddess, which explains why their fur is completely white." My eyes widened in surprise. He was talking about white wolves. I just didn't know the white wolves; I was mated to one of them but he didn't know that yet. I didn't i

Like she remembered who he was. He felt his wolf yelping in his head. His mate was finally there. He had spent so long without her, and now. she was finally within reach. Her wolf had always been unique. She was the only wolf with white on her fur, and there she was, staring at him intently. A massive black wolf with white engravings that trailed from her head to her tail and down her to her paws. She was gorgeous.

The shift is almost complete when I look over to her and I’m speechless. “She’s gorgeous” Cobalt is swooning over her. Her fur shakes out, fluffing a pure white color. She turns facing me and her eyes are…. Purple? I guess the white fur and the purple eyes are a dead giveaway that she’s different. I mean, there’s been white colored wolves, but they’ve had other colors mixed in their fur or had patches of color throughout. Remi’s wolf is pure white, almost having a glow from how brightly white she is.

I swallow and back away. "Hey, kitty, go away," I hiss, grabbing the nearest utensil. A fork. Ready for a fight if it comes to it. The cat's eyes don't leave; they scrutinize me with interest. "Go away," my voice sounds strangled. 'It's… lovely,' my wolf comments. The cat has white fur, like snow. It's lean and tall, with big golden eyes. I carefully tip around the counter, away from it, but its eyes follow me.

The appearance of a white wolf is mystical in shifter history. The prophecy claims that a white wolf is the guiding power behind a great change. These crazy men thought I was leading them to victory in some shifter war. “I’m probably just an albino, right, Doc?” He shook his head from side to side, making me feel defeated. “No. Beyond your white fur, you have no signs or DNA of albinism. The code for pure white fur is polygenetic. Multiple alleles are responsible for the expression of white fur. The probability that the exact combination for the trait is present is extremely low.”

As the final transformation took place, I slowly stood to my feet. I watched in awe as Jessica’s wolf shook out her gorgeous pure white fur. She was larger than an average female, and as I suspected she was special. White wolves were rare, and they were a symbol of purity and protection. They were known to be good luck for the pack who has a white wolf within its pack.
