I shouted. "You don't feel cold?" She asked as i drove the car to the human's town. Where Queen was. She used to live in the packhouse and hang out with me like every day. But then, she found out her mate was a human. Of course, she moved to her mate's place. I thought after she marked him, she will move back to the packhouse but they want to keep their restaurant so they stay in the human's town. Werewolves did not allow to stay in human's town because it was dangerous but they begged Ethan. Ethan didn't agree with that at first but Erick said as long as they didn't show any problems, they can leave the packhouse.

"You have no idea what you started. People are coming for us now." The meeting went wrong fast. Headlights appeared at both ends of the garage. Strange men got out of cars. Elias grabbed Kane's arm. "We have to go. Now." Kane pulled him toward an exit. "Run. Do not stop." They took off through the garage and out into the city streets. Footsteps pounded behind them. The chase was on. Elias ran beside him breathing hard. "Who are these people?" Kane kept pace. "Council enforcers or someone working with them. Marcus talked too much. The leak went to the wrong ears."

“Let's continue when we're out of here.” He pushed open a set of double doors, only to meet Azaiah and about twenty soldiers standing there. Looks like they were coming for us too. Declan and I glanced at each other. “Run!” We turned on our heels and bolted back the way we came. It was a hassle jumping over dead bodies but it was either that or the angry men behind us.
