Why Does Don Lorenzo Have Gold Teeth Novels & Stories

His posture was perfect, his expression respectful, but his eyes betrayed a flicker of surprise as they took in Lorenzo’s appearance. The Don’s grandson, now Don himself, stood before him in a soft T-shirt, joggers, and house slippers. He looked almost… human. “Don Lorenzo, welcome,” Silvio greeted respectfully, dipping his head in a polite nod. “Signore Martinelli is in the den with his nurse.” Lorenzo’s mouth curved into a lopsided smile. “You have the titles wrong, Silvio. I am Signore Lorenzo and my grandfather is Don Martinelli.”

I said sweetly, “is that why your wife isn’t here?” I looked around theatrically. “Or is it because you don’t have one?” A few nearby guests choked on their drinks. Alessandro’s smile widened—dangerous, sharp, impressed. “Oh, I like this one,” he murmured. “Montrel, you married a woman with teeth. Rare these days.” Damien’s hand flexed at his side, torn between punching Alessandro and dragging me back behind him. Lorenzo lifted a hand, cutting the tension neatly.

She was carrying the heir to the Moretti empire, but the father wasn't the Don. A heavy knock sounded on the bedroom door. "Elena?" Lorenzo’s voice was muffled through the wood. "Are you alright? You didn't come down for coffee." Elena looked at the bathroom door, then at the window. She could see Dante in the courtyard below, checking a handgun, his face cold and distant. "I'm fine, Lorenzo!" she called out, her voice cracking. "Just a bit of a stomach bug." "Open the door," Lorenzo said. His voice wasn't the soft, kind tone he used with her. It was the voice of the Boss. The voice that commanded armies. "The doctor is already here. I want him to check you."

She no longer had to worry about being sold off by her parents to pay their debts. Lorenzo could have recovered if he'd undergone medical treatment. However, he risked his life and snuck out that day. As a result, his already damaged joints never received proper treatment, and so, the injury became permanent. The multiple setbacks affected Lorenzo's temperament. His judgment faltered, mistakes piled up, and whatever authority he had crumbled. By the time my and Dominic's twins were born, Lorenzo had already been forced to step down as Don. Some said he died in some secluded alley, while others claimed he went to Southern Aperian under a false name.

I took hold of it and applied toothpaste on it and then I turned to face her. “Show me your teeth.” She frowned. “I can…” “Alora, open your mouth.” I ordered. She opened her mouth and showed me her teeth. As I moved closer, she chuckled. “Are you seriously going to brush my teeth?” “Yes.” ************** *ALORA* “Lorenzo, I can really…” “Let me see your teeth.” He pressed on. Seriously? This was awkward and sweet at the same time. Knowing that he won’t relent, I showed him my teeth.

I teased, pulling him into the tub fully clothed. "My clothes!" he shouted. "This is payback for missing my show," I smirked as he entered me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ REALITY Was his desperation for children... the donations to orphanages... all just a lie? My eyes drifted to the next photo. Lorenzo stood beside Dante Moretti, who held a briefcase. Lorenzo shook hands with a man in the background, while a large truck—partially covered—sat ominously behind them. Were the children inside?

"She loves me too much to disobey me." The men seemed to relax, followed by the sound of clinking glasses. I never imagined that Lorenzo, who once swore to protect me with his life, would choose to let me bear the suspicion of being a "rat" just to secure his power. Immediately, someone laughed and flattered him: "True, the Don's charm is irresistible. The Signora will naturally do as she is told." Standing in the shadows outside the door, looking at the shield crest on the wall that represented family glory, the corner of my mouth hooked into a cruel arc.

"Where is Dante? Bleeding out on his own marble floor? Good. He was a fool to think he could keep a Valenti heir hidden." "He’s not a Valenti heir to you," I spat. "He’s a child. My child." Lorenzo moved with a speed I didn't expect from a man his age. He lunged, his hand snapping around my wrist, twisting it until the lamp clattered to the floor. I cried out, but he didn't let go. He leaned in, his breath smelling of expensive scotch and rot. "He is fifty million dollars in a small pair of shoes, Elena. Move, or I’ll have the Morettis drag you both out by your hair."

"Ruby, you've got it wrong. He's just a patient." "A patient?" Ruby looked relieved. "Oh, he's here for your grandmother then!" Chloe didn't bother correcting her. "Something like that." Lorenzo ignored the local chatter. His gaze lingered on a rusted stand near the door that read: HERBAL TONIC - $30. He stared at it for five long seconds. He let out a silent, inward sneer. In Dark Star, that amount wouldn't buy the scrapings of a low-grade cigar leaf.

his tone is lacking with mockery. My heart drops at the thought of those words. Did she think that about me? Lorenzo’s eyes changed into gold color as his teeth drew out. I burst into laughter. For fuck sake, he is a wolf; I would tear him apart in one bite. He jumps on me and bites me on my neck. “Argh,” I wrote in pain. I roll over making him be on top of me. I growl as my eyes change into gold and red. His eyebrow furrows as he takes in his teeth “You are a hybrid?” He asks. His voice was laced with surprise.
