Willow had never met him, but Marcus told her he was a formidable force and to show him the same respect she afforded him. Although it was late winter in Virginia, Willow dressed in a short black skirt, thigh-high nylons, and a Catarina red top that V to her navel and the dimples along her lower back. Willow is a Chemistry teacher for the 12th graders and she shares the same office with her so she helped her to their office and her desk. "What is wrong with her?" Miss Caleb, another staff member who was a physics teacher, asked. "She witnessed Cade's accident. I think she's highly traumatized." Miss Willow explained. "Oh, that means she can't even open her phone because the gruesome picture is all over the internet." Miss Caleb remarked. "What? All over the internet? That's gross. He's only a kid struggling with his life at the moment. Why would they already have those gruesome pictures all over the internet?" Jessica finally spoke up.

Willow got out of the car and breathed in the crisp afternoon air. The lodge was beautiful, overlooking the forest and the banks of the Lee River. A pang of sadness came over her, wishing she could have been there with Zoey. Two officers followed from the car, assigned to accompany Willow for the week. One was a woman named Chelsea. She was two years Willow's senior. The other officer's name was Derek. The officers were communicative and put Willow at ease during the drive to Riverlodge.

Landing on Home Alone, I just got comfortable as the door opened again. “Hey. I figured I’d come and keep you company.” Willow walked in, unsure if she should be there or not. “Maddox doesn’t know I’m here.” “Well, all the more reason to come in.” I smiled at her. “I’m not sure if you remember me. I just turned 16 a few months ago, so I am two years younger than you. Our paths didn’t cross often… or really at all.” She pulled a chair up to my side of the bed and sat down, resting her legs just on the corner of the bed. “It’s nice to meet you.”

I ask nervously, “-I don’t understand what I can do?” “They haven’t had to deal with anything like this before, Willow. Right now, you’re the only wolf they know of that survived an attack led by those blood-suckers,” he guesses which makes sense. “I can’t really remember too much about that night. I can only remember parts of it, mainly just flashes of being pinned down,” I admit shuddering. “I’m sure anything will help,” Dakota softly smiles reassuringly from across the kitchen island. “Right, new plan!” Elijah claps his hands together, “Me and Willow need to get going so Dakota, can you head out and pick something for Willow to wear tonight? You can take Raven along with you if she wants

He rested his chin on my shoulder. “You’re dealing with her this time.” Harper took another deep breath. She dreaded dealing with Willow, their daughter, about their trip tomorrow. Willow is 19 years old, and rebellious as they come. She is a lot like her mother, you can’t tell her to do something and expect her to comply 100%. “She already says she’s not going.” Harper couldn’t understand why Willow didn’t want to visit their dragon friends in the Mythical Lands. She quickly sat down and lowered her voice. "If it's about the accident Natalie caused as a teen, I know about that." George let out a small chuckle. "What's so funny?" "Do you know how old she was when she caused that accident?" He asked, tapping her fingers on the table. Willow looked around to see if anyone was paying attention and narrowed her eyes at him. A minute later, Willow found herself in the company of another. "Hello," a woman said who came to sit on the wooden log beside Willow's and appeared to be in her mid-twenties. "I'm Gwen." "I'm Willow...I'm a guest here."

I know she is basically in a walking vegetative state but it still feels wrong to just experiment on her without at least letting her know and asking for permission. "Katarina, my name is Willow. I, we, think that I may be able to help you bring your wolf back. I have to touch you in order to do that. Do you want me to help you?" Her face remains blank and no words were exchanged, but oddly enough her hands reached out to me as if she wanted me to hold them. That movement was enough for me to have faith that Katarina was definitely still in there, trying to get free. I reach out and gingerly take both of Katarina's hands in mine.

I hope she wasn’t too much trouble. “Oh no, she was absolutely wonderful. Easiest child I have ever watched.” Willow replied with a huge grin. This took Cassia by surprise. “You’ve watched other children?” “Why yes. I’m older than I look.” She replied to Cassia with confidence. “How old exactly are you? Because I thought you were much younger than I was. That is why I was nervous about leaving my sister.” “I’m actually 18.” She responded. “And I am not offended by your concern. Because I too would have been nervous. With everything you two have been through, I would not want her to be out of my sight either.”
