' song on repeat in my brain. Van chose Arthur Christmas. Val chose How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Ricky chose Home Alone 2, one of his favorite movies. Sara chose Christmas Chronicles on Netflix. I chose The Santa Clause. Wilder and Wyatt passed on picking movies, because it was late and they wanted Grandpa to have a turn. He pulls out his movie from his pocket, handing the DVD to Wyatt. Grandpa Mick has Jacks now, holding him close and I love the sight. I pull my phone out and take a picture.

Your man’s going to spank your ass later,’ he said in his mind before following them. Demie, on the other hand, was still clinging to Aly's arm as they entered the inside of the venue. Christmas decors on every corner, a large Christmas tree was settled on the side with its bright chirstmas lights and a gold star on the top. And with the christmas song played, people smiling at each other, Demie can really feel the spirit of Christmas. Someone meets them, a man who Demie thinks is the same age as Sandro. "Auntie, Merry Christmas," he greeted the woman and kissed her on the cheek.

A storm behind the smiles. Maybe it was me. Maybe it was him. Lena shot across the room like a chaotic missile, skidding into me with a hug that knocked the breath from my lungs. “Jesus Christ, you look like a Disney princess who failed the survival side quest,” she said, tugging my hood down. “Did he cheat with a girl? A guy? A whole choir? Spill.” I choked on a laugh—weak, cracked. “Guy.” She froze. Then whispered, “Oh sweetie… that is spectacularly awful. Well done. You win Christmas.”

We all believed that they brought him comfort. Logan was still slowly getting over the sting of his breakup with Sasha. But that Christmas was coming, we all had a lot to look forward to. The Wine Awards were being held on December 1st right here in San Francisco. They changed locations every year, and because they were being held locally, and Logan and Luigi’s wine was local, we all knew how exciting it would be if they won one of the categories this year. “So you better prepare some speeches,” I said light heartedly to Logan and Luigi. “Just in case.”

"If Ms. Lewis finds out that you worked overtime to see her, she would be very touched." Xander had lied when he'd said that he would return two days before Christmas. He had missed the Black Friday gala the last time, so he wanted to make up for it and give her a surprise this time. Xander smiled. He was in a good mood. "I don't need her to be touched. I just want her to be happy." The plane took off and made an arc in the sky.

Before I could figure out what was going on, a tall and slender woman approached Dylan and me. She locked arms with Dylan and shot me an irritated look, asking, "Who's this?" Dylan answered before I could even say a word, speaking in a tone that made it seem like we had coincidentally run into each other. "She's Blake's girlfriend. She came to look for him." The woman immediately dropped her guard and curiously gave me a once-over. She smiled sweetly and introduced herself as Trixie Ashford. She was Dylan's girlfriend, and she had returned to the country specifically to celebrate Christmas with him.

They reached Tara’s car, and as soon as they got in, Tara squeezed Melody’s hand. As she got into the car, she made a silent prayer, she didn't believe in Christmas no more, but she was hoping for a Christmas miracle. The twelve days of Christmas song was blasting in the car. On the fourth day of Christmas my true love sent to me… “Cheating on a platter of gold.” How thoughtful.

Leon sat at the head of the table while I sat two seats away, pretending not to feel the heat of his gaze burning into the side of my face. Rina clicked a remote, and the screen behind her lit up. “Our Christmas festival will run from December 2nd, which is tomorrow, all the way to Christmas Eve,” she began. “This year, the royal family has approved an expanded calendar, so we have more events than ever before.” I pulled out my notebook, my hands trembling as I forced myself to focus.

"We have waffles. Eggs. Bacon. Fruit. And hot chocolate because the guy downstairs said it's Christmas and the rules don't count." Malaya squealed. Judy's eyes widened on the screen. "Jordan Hall," she said, the stern mom tone trying and failing to hide her happiness. "You got something to say to your mother?" Jordan's throat tightened. "Hey, Mom." "Merry Christmas," Judy said, softer. "Merry Christmas," Jordan echoed. Jerry pointed a finger like a warning. "Don't drop the tray, son." Jordan laughed. "Yes, sir." Malaya ended the call with a bright, "Love you!" and clapped as if she'd completed a mission.
