Wolves Not Sheep Clothing Novels & Stories

she chuckled at her thought. I chose clothes for dinner so as not to look pathetic and strict, but also not to turn myself into a horror story. From childhood, my mother instilled, one might say, nurtured in me a sense of caution, my law of survival: do not attract attention to yourself, do not stand out. It's not easy for werewolves to live among humans. I chose a black pleated skirt, just below the knee and a blue baggy blouse. Raven-colored hair, waist-length, twisted in a large muzzle at the back of her head. Uncomfortable, they pull back their heads, but again, they do not attract attention to themselves.

But it turns out that the fishes on the pond would be the first one to run out than the mana I have left in my body. Sitting on the grass with big pack of dirts beside it, I can say that I am in a mess. My clothes have been like this ever since. I do have a spare but changing clothes and washing the other one, I never even expected to encounter such thing. Thankfully it was finely comfortable to wear. If not, I would surely be on range walking all around the forest to pick up any clothes I can get. One of the rule we wolves have is that, we can use those clothes only… If it is needed. If it isn't a thing that is needing urgent usage of it, we can't just randomly pick up every clothes scatter

Oritha and Raiden who were now updated of the strange situation awaited further instructions from Zen who was close enough to confirm his suspicions. Zen never thought the saying ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’ would take a literal turn. The hairier legs of the wolf exposed it. Using the skin of a sheep laid above its head, the wolf managed to disguise itself as a sheep. Unlike the village that had more white sheep than coloured ones, it was easier for the wolf to blend in with Raiden’s coloured flock. It had a black snout, now stained red with the fresh blood of the new sheep he killed and hid beneath his fluffy white coat. It was such a smart move that the non-observant shepherds would miss. Sh

My father sighed, his smile remaining as he adjusted his black robes, each piece of clothing he wore crafted from the finest cotton; yet easily manoeuvrable in battle. I smiled up at his armoured breast plate, once again noticing that he still wore the armour of the stag after all these years, vast antlers reaching across his broad chest. I shifted my eyes towards the sheath by his side, the large jewel at the hilt of his long sword breathtaking as the red shone through his black cloak; informing me that he still did not trust the members of the council enough to remove his weapon in their presence. Smart. I believed that each one of them would betray him were they given a chance, taking the

“Look, I can't tell you yet. I still have some stuff to figure out first but I promise, it's not anything negative." Tate looked suspicious but decided not to say anything. “You going on a run? Need company?" he asked. I wanted to say no but decided against it. Company is exactly what I needed. At the very least, it would guarantee I wouldn't do something stupid like run straight to Aurora or Steve. “Actually, I would love some company," I replied. “Cool, let me go grab a spare," he said and disappeared. When wolves shift, our clothes tend to rip and tear so we developed the habit of always carrying spares with us. Either that or stripping completely naked before shifting which sometimes wor

“As I have said before we are wolf shifters not humans. He is going to have to accept that there are times when one will see everyone naked. We don’t see it as embarrassing or shameful. Some are more comfortable than others and we do need to blend with humans so we do use clothing when it is appropriate. Sleeping is not one of those times. “. This time she got the full on effect of that handsome wolfie smile and amber eyes. Pulling on a T-shirt and jeans, he just ran his hands through his hair while he slid his bare feet into a pair of deck shoes. “I have a complete name now and some insight into the rogues themselves. I just have to get past Jeff ragging me out for investigating it on m

“And get this, he said, ‘Well, now you know I’m not hiding anything.’” “That’s not vulnerability,” I said. “That’s trauma.” “And he was proud of it,” Hannah added, wiping tears from her eyes. “The human world is chaotic. You wolves don’t know how lucky you are. At least your people wear clothes in battle.” “Only because we’re forced to,” Lily said. “Otherwise, most of our warriors would shift back naked and act like it’s totally normal to walk around the pack house like that.” I groaned. “Don’t remind me. Last week, I accidentally walked in on two scouts arguing about strategy, in the hallway, completely naked, like they weren’t holding spears five seconds ago.”

There was even a cloth-making room and several other rooms, each with a different purpose. I was stunned. Why all these rooms? Who needed them all? Everything was spotless, which showed it was cleaned daily, or at least every other day. “It’s time for the run,” Zora said, eventually. I immediately got up and went to my closet, changing into a sports bra and matching trousers. When wolves shifted, their clothes were usually shredded. But for Alphas and royals, they didn’t, one of the advantages of being one. Their clothes remained intact during the shift.

"Hahahahahaha, I like you just like that, like a little sheep. You know what a sheep is, right? It's a white, soft, little hoofed, grass-eating type. When it encounters danger, it just runs around with its eyes wide open and ears pricked up. If the master wants to kill it for meat, just touch its head. It will cry and lie down waiting to be slaughtered." Mark smiled devilishly, "You are such a little sheep. You're easy to bully and stupid. I am a wolf. Wolves are born to eat sheep. Why should I let you go?"

I can feel it in the way they stare at me. My flesh is getting soaked yet I persist under the storm gazing at all these strange wolves. They wear no shoes, feet bare. Their haircuts are alike to Phobos, shaved at the sides. Their beards are uncut and dishevelled. They do not care for how they present themselves to others. Ismena was right, these wolves are nothing like us. They truly resemble beasts. The entirety of their appearance is unconventional. Their massive structures are wrapped in dense woollen cloaks whilst their right ears are ornamented with a golden earpiece they wear with pride.
