Chapter 3: Lily POV Alpha Xander stood there, still at my words. He was clearly not expecting it. His body slowly retreated from mine and he peered at me like the creepy man did earlier— as if I had gone mad. Of course, his reaction was justified because Lisa in the book could never admit boldly to cheating on him but there was a reason for my bold and fearless provocation:

Xander asked as if he was rubbing salt on my mood after ruining my appetite. "Can you let go of me and stop bothering me? When did you start to care about whether I ate or not?" I snapped at Xander irritated. He ignored me and his eyes glanced at the floor to catch the sight of the book the floor. "Bambi and the devil. That's interesting so you are into dark romance." Xander read out the book title as he pinned me against the shelves. "I am not into dark romance. Why are you here and not with your precious lover?" I hissed at him not liking how close we were. His eyes had a fleeting emotion I could not read that quickly disappeared.

Chapter 3|Stalker AYISHA'S POV His voice sounded familiar. "Shit!" I correctly predicted. He is... "Kiann!" Oh my God! Why did my cheeks flush when I realized he had saved me? Is he interested in me? She felt a flutter of excitement mixed with dread as she took off her robe, standing confidently in just her lingerie, the fabric embracing her curves. But then, as she drew nearer, her heart dropped as she caught sight of Xavier, entwined with another woman in the steamy enclosure of the shower. As she approached, her breath hitched when she realized it was Yolanda. Just then, Xavier lifted Yolanda and pinned her against the wall.
