Jiro’s sister.” I swallowed hard, my grip tightening on the doorframe. “What brings you here, Ms. Fujibayashi?” Her gaze flicked past me, into the apartment, where Hibiki’s laughter echoed softly. “May I come in? I believe we have much to discuss.”

But then I saw her, but it wasn’t Yūri. “Mayu?” I questioned as I got closer. She was the girl that was with Yūri that day. Hachiro’s girlfriend. “Hibiki… you need to help her.” she said, grabbing my shirt with a desperate look in her eyes. “Help her? Yūri? Is she okay? Where is she?” I questioned my heart rate spiking. So much for Trevor’s theory that she can handle herself.
