“You’ve clearly been up to something huge here lately, and I’m starting to feel like I’m the last to know. Why keep me in the dark?” Sighing, I put the knife down, my eyes meeting his. There’s no point in avoiding the inevitable any longer. I might as well rip off the band-aid now. “Okay, fine,” I mutter, wiping my hands on my apron. “I’m one of the finalists to compete to cater the Alpha party.” His eyes widen for a fraction of a second before his expression smooths over into something I can’t quite decipher right now. “That’s great, Abby. I’m proud of you.”

"We can have them get us a bottle of champagne while the workers model us some outfits, I'm already tired standing." They chuckled like teenagers again. "Maybe that is why Alexander gets new Barbies, because you don't have that energy anymore." Abigail joked but got a cold stare from Lucy in return. "We don't want to talk about cheating husband's now, do we.? Aby?" She asked. Abigail nodded and made a zipping sign with her mouth. " I won't mention it again." She said. I felt stupid being in their midst and following them into the office but still didn't know how the hell to excuse myself and walk out of the shop.

I whispered to her. She chuckled. "You are cute as always,come on let's dance" She pulled me and we both went to the dance floor. "The celebrant Mr Bruno and his sister Abigail!!' The dj announced dance battle. "No!!" I said waving at the dj. "Go Bruno!!"the guests started shouting. "Come on let's do it birthday boy!,lossen up!!" Abigail said,forcing her muscles,she did a split ,the admirers cheered for her, distracted by the people's attention ,I took that opportunity to escape from her.

But was Leon’s heart beating as loudly as hers? “If you’d like to know, this is my second time dancing,” Leon spoke, swinging her gently this time, letting her to enjoy the dance that were both wild and elegant. She looked at his eyes, almost forgetting how to dance as Leon led her every steps. “Really? I find that odd or maybe you’re just talented?” “I’d like to say the first person I danced with was a person who expect the best dance,” Leon turned her body, walking nearer to the edge of the lake as the music reached its climax.

Next up was the second group. This time, Kendrick and Ellie were among the competitors. Annabelle watched as Kendrick stood up. Was he really going to dance?

Tyler hurries to say, "Of course, I still don't know if he feels the same, but if he does, I promise I'll take good care of him," "You better," Kian mumbles. The competition finally starts, and the lights go off. Groups from different academies introduce themselves and present their show. All of them are good dancers, and it's hard to pick who's the best. There are multiple categories such as hip hop, jazz, ballet, and contemporary. Tyler cheers up all the groups while Kian films the show because he doesn't want his mum to miss anything.

I snatched my hand away and tossed him my clutch. Abby handed over hers with a smirk. “Take good care of this, will you?” She said, then flipped her hair in his face. Bryce glared at her in return, to which she wiggled her fingers, taunting him. As we made our way through the crowd, hand in hand, Abby hooted and danced, waving her hands in the air without a care in the world. I joined in, ignoring my inhibitions and all my problems in the name of a modest spirit of liberty to extract as much enjoyment out of tonight as possible.

The dance show began with a bang and there was a loud cheer from the crowd. It was a freestyle dance competition there was a lotta dance style to watch. Some were doing Salsa, Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary etc. Then suddenly they announced Andrew's name and it got my attention. Zayn's new single 'Like I Would' started playing and Andrew and Liam entered the stage and they started doing Hip Hop. It was really amazing. Their performance made the crowd go wild. Then they elegantly made a bow and said thank you and left the stage.

Abigail rested her empty glass on the coffee table beside her as she met his curious gaze. “I used to dance when I was younger, but not like that. What I performed tonight was a mixture of self-taught lessons and advice from other dancers. I practised until I got it right. Luckily, when I went for my audition to work at Vanx Club, the manager, Andrew, saw ‘potential’ in me. I got better over time.”

Danial, in a playful tone, responded, "Will you be able to handle me?" Abby smirked, narrowing her eyes. "Some arrogance, alright. Let's see if your arrogance can hold up against me." Realizing she misunderstood his joke, Danial quickly said, "Abby, I was joking—" Suddenly, he felt a breeze and saw Abby in front of him, delivering a direct kick. Stunned, Danial crossed his arms to block the attack but was pushed back six steps before coming to a stop. He raised his head, noticing Abby had vanished, only to feel a shiver down his spine. He ducked just in time to avoid Abby's punch and countered with a leg sweep, which she effortlessly leaped over.
