The husky voice said and explained to me clearly. After all I have seen and heard, I felt more pain and disappointed to have seen and just realized a whole lot of things, when I was no more on the land of the living. 'I only wish I could turn back the hands of time and make things right with some mistakes of the past and also learn to cherish every of my moment with those that truly loved me and also cared about me!' With a pained look on my face, I thought those things to myself. "If you are given the opportunity to make a wish now... What would that wish be?" The husky voice asked me and it was a big shock to me, as I thought whatever I wanted can not be mine and making a wish was totally

"Uwana dear may I come in " I didn't say anything but turned to my side to watched the sun set properly through my open window. My mom walked in any way as she quietly sat close to me. At first it was the sound of our breathing that was echoing through the silence but after awhile my mom spoke up "Oh dear I am sorry for the rough day you had at school today. I may not know what you're feeling right now but... Sometimes who we wish we were what we wish we could do, Is just not meant to be."

We do not speak afterwards , but it feels comfortable – a comfortable silence. ___________________________________________________________________ “Another day wasted hey” Jason says taking a seat in the library chair opposite me. I nod my head in absolute exhaustion. After our moment in the car , Jason and I dug deep into the shelves of this library trying to find any information regarding the moonlight wish. However , we have no such luck as we are about to leave this library empty handed as well. Frustration shows on my face as I sit and stare the towers of books had read through – my head has an unimaginable pain caused by careful observation of very page of every book.

Despite it being so long ago, there was no way I would not have a single remembrance of the things I said. “I don’t remember saying so much like this Bobby. I agree about the fire. I was angry and I wished that the building would burn to the ground, but I don’t remember wishing for anybody’s death in the process, I would never wish for something like that.” I said, confused.

The regrets came faster now, flooding through my dimming consciousness like water through a cracking dam. I wished I'd told my mom I loved her more. Called her more often instead of letting weeks pass between conversations, always too busy, always promising to visit soon. I wished I'd visited home more often, spent more time with my sister, listening to gossips. So many wishes, and not enough time left to make them count. There were so many things I'd left unsaid, undone. Plans I'd never get to fulfill. Dreams that would stay forever dreams.

I whispered, my voice soothing. I sat down beside her, worry etched on my face. "I wish for a lot of things, Tia," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "I wish for peace, for safety, for a life free from the threats that surround us." I looked at her, my eyes searching for understanding. "I need time, Tia, time to be able to tell you what's in my heart."

He just looks numb. "It won't always be like this, Ethan. I wish I could take it all back. I wish I could go back in time and never speak to Dane. I wish I could have seen you in that diner and spent that time talking to you. I wish we just spent that time talking. I wish we met that way. I wish this was all different, Ethan. I deserve all of this. Losing you...is the greatest pain I will ever endure," I told him.

I tried to start a casual conversation but ended up crying harder cause I still feel alone. How I wish I can hear her voice today. How I wish I can hear her say that she loves me. I wish she can tell me that everything will eventually turn out fine. "Sorry for talking to you at this state. Sorry, Mom. I just need you right now." I said before covering my mouth cause I'm afraid that someone might hear me weeping. "I wish you're here, Mom. I wish I can tell you my pain. I wish you never kept all those burdens all by yourself so that we won't be suffering like this. Apart from each other. I'm sorry for being like the man who is the reason why of all your pain. I just miss you, Mom. I love you."

A small gasp escaped my lips when I sighted something move really fast in the sky. Oh my God! It's a shooting star! I stared at it in awe, it was so beautiful. 'Make a wish' Closing my eyes I took in a deep breath. "I-I wish.. i would finally be happy for once in my life." Opening my eyes, I watched as the star moved pass me. I closed my eyes and smiled, feeling like things are going to be okay for me. I would finally be happy.

Letting the weight of the wish I’d made curl into my chest like smoke. And I said the words again, just for me: I’m going to get her back. If it’s the last thing I ever do.
