Leon stood up and walked towards the bar so he could be close. "How's she? Did she wake up? Is she fine? Say something!" Leon snapped while grabbing the bar in his fists tightly. His heart was racing like a marathon at the verge of bursting out of his chest. "She woke up in the morning." Came the calm and controlled voice of James Dawson. "She woke up." He breathed as a smile broke on his lips. "She woke up..." He repeated as a sigh of content washed through his form. She's alive. "She's fine." James said calmly while keenly looking at drastic changing expressions on Leon's face.

I’m running as fast as I can through the trees, my heart is racing. I feel like it will explode any minute. I can see the opening in the gate, my escape isn’t far off. I hear people yelling dogs barking, I know they are searching for me. I’m almost to the exit, my freedom, “Stop right there!!!” The guard yelled. I keep running, there’s a gunshot and it all goes black.

I asked as I set down the cup. “It’s going well. Life’s getting better,” she said with a faint smile, a trace of emotion in her voice. “Lately, someone has been sending us things anonymously—sometimes food, sometimes books or clothes, and even financial support. We don’t know who it is, but it has made things a lot easier for us.” I paused for a moment, a thought flickering in my mind. I didn’t ask further and just nodded gently. “That’s good.” We talked for a long time before I got up to leave.

*Katrina * When I arrived home I headed straight for my bed. I was too tired to shower all I could do was just remove my shoes and my pants. I was still slightly drained of energy. When I finally woke up I looked around the field and all the tall grass that I saw before was now gone. I walked back slowly to the tree line because I didn't have any energy but Shiva helped me along the way, letting me use some of her power to walk. Once I got back to the tree line I sat down and opened my backpack and started to eat because it made my stomach feel a little better. When I was done I looked at myself seeing that my clothes had burned in some spots . I ignored it and walked slowly back to the car
