Chapter 12

You are mine. And I am yours alone!

Stefan's POV

I learned about Victor’s pack today. I stood near the edge of the forest, wearing my coat. Not only that, but I didn't fail to realize it has been a long time since I stepped foot in the human world. Since the last incident where Aurora nearly killed herself because of her stupidity. My second has been informing me of the news circulating everywhere…. Ryder had been gossiping about how scared I was to fight him back. He had told them I was a coward and had run away from the fight. I promise Ryder, he will eat his words back.

The wind billowed behind me, and I felt it push at me like a gentle tug. I have been hearing whispers and news about Victor's pack moving in secret. Victor was a rival Alpha of mine, and his pack was a notorious and deadly one. They moved in secret doing shady things, hurting people and hiding from everyone.

I breathed, looking at the sky. This was another challenge. I would rather not get caught up in V

  • Bloodbound    The return of Alina

Chapter 25Aurora’s POVA week soon passed like a breeze and gladness radiated my heart. I was going to return to work and leave this building with its ghostly surroundings. I hadn't had enough sleep these past days as thoughts of the cloaked figure and the vandalization tormented me. But one thing I was sure to remember was to engage in more work to gather enough to leave the restaurant. The sun was hot this morning, having set earlier than expected. The heat touched everything. My head, hands, legs, and body. I wiped my forehead as I stepped outside the restaurant. My shirt clung to my back due to heat. I took a deep breath. The air smelled like baked cement and burnt oil, but I didn’t mind. Things were calm. Finally,Maya, my boss, had fixed the restaurant earlier than she said she would. I knew when she had fixed it but didn't return until the week was completed. She didn’t argue much this time. She even smiled when she handed me the new keys. The glass door had been replaced with

  • Bloodbound    The werewolf defiance

Chapter 24 Irina's POVThe growls and snarls from the werewolf were the response to my devilish greeting. The chains clanked and made gurgled noises as the werewolves made their anger known – hurling themselves towards me, their eyes blazing with fury – throwing their whole weight on it.I stood in the dark looking at them again and again. Thankfully, for me, the werewolves were still alive after all this supposed behavior they had been exhibiting since last week. They were too strong for my liking, too powerful. A smile tugged at my lips as I cherished the idea, strong and powerful was what I need for my mission, and they just seem to possess it.I clenched my fists and bared my teeth at them, enraged at the little show they were putting up in clear defiance.“You think you can outlast me?” I grinned, stepping forward. The young male looked at me. His face was pale, but he still had fight in his eyes. And he was clearly not backing down or bowing to my whims anytime sooner.“You thi

  • Bloodbound    More pressure

Chapter 23Irina's POV Standing by the window, arms folded, the winds touching my cheek in a hard caress as I looked out at the dark sky, my mind on just a constant thought which was now a pain in my ass. Aurora's growing power keeps on upsetting me despite knowing I was still the most powerful, but the annoying part was it would not last forever. The more air she breathed, the more spells she studied, the more time she spent harnessing her powers was only a step closer to welding the number of powers I hold. In a matter of time, she'd be able to challenge me. And what would that mean for me?“She’s getting stronger,” I balked. My eyes widened, and I clasped my hands over my mouth hurriedly. I could not allow my witches to grasp the words and me saying it was absurd. Did I think Aurora would grow powerful to challenge me? My name is Irina Dracula, and I was the strongest and most powerful witch alive. I was feared and dreaded for a thousand years. I have hunted and killed plenty of p

  • Bloodbound    Alina's ghost

Chapter 22Aurora’s POVI held the torn piece of cloak in my hand the whole way back to my little hideout. I ran the entire time. After realizing what this was, I could not help loitering around in case the cloak figure decided it was the best time to do whatever it is it'd plan to do. My breath came out hard, but I didn't stop a second. Although I could not stop myself from looking back. As I rounded the corners and passed behind trees, cars and any shadow object, I made sure to look closer for any sign of a strange figure. My thoughts were a jumble of pieces. The only thing that came to my mind constantly was the fact that someone had been loitering around waiting for me to be in the dark before chasing me. That was after following me a good measure of distance. My mind accosted me with so many questions we both knew I could not give an answer to. I was as blank as petrified - someone had just chased me, o

  • Bloodbound    A chase through the pack

Chapter 21Aurora’s POVI hurriedly packed all the things into the blocks and made sure they were hidden properly before dashing out as fast as I could to the restaurant. My shoes kept hitting the pavement hard, and thrice my head nearly buckled over to the cold floor. My heart was racing but I didn't stop. Maya sounded so frightened and there was worry edged in her tone. I just needed to get to the restaurant and know what was wrong. I needed no one to tell me something terribly wrong had happened, and it involved me. The street was undoubtedly so quiet and not in a good way as if to prove my point. I looked around me, but there was no sound, no people and not even the usual noise from other shops. I froze for a second, whirling my mind about what happened. I reached the restaurant and paused on my track. Right in front of me, staring in my eyes was my name…AURORA… sprayed in big red letters on the wall.My mouth dropped open as I moved closer, hands shaking.“What… what is this?”

  • Bloodbound    Midnight revelations

Chapter 20Aurora’s POVI crossed my mind there and then to make an extensive investigation about Irina. I stared at the sky, it was dark and there were creeping noises already. The man had gone out into the dark all by himself. I didn't know what he was going to do about his life. I could not go back to the restaurant, so I was left with the choice of sleeping in the building. Luckily, for me, there was a sack hanging as curtains…I drew it down and cast a concealment and protection spell. I folded my legs underneath the pool of blankets and ate my meal. My fingers ran over the edges of an old book. The same book Alina gave me before the incident happened and she disappeared. I had read it before, but now I felt like there was something I missed. What had I missed causing the mistake?I couldn’t sleep. Not after what I found out from that man I freed. Not after learning that Irina killed my father. Not
