I woke up. Before I even opened my eyes, I remembered what happened. I blacked out and fainted?!

Oh my gosh, my baby!

I immediately opened my eyes. Holding my head, I sat up. I was inside a room. I immediately realized I was in the hospital. I roamed my eyes around; I was alone, Hades wasn't there either.

I tried to stand and get out of bed when the door suddenly opened.

"Wife!" He immediately came to help me. He helped me sit back down on the bed. Once I was seated, I looked at him. His eyes looked so tired. His face was serious as he hugged me. I couldn't move.

He kissed my forehead and then buried his face in my neck.

He caressed my hair with his left hand.

"You had me worried," he whispered.

I swallowed. I felt one of his hands on my stomach, gently caressing it. I held his hand on my stomach.

Our baby...

When the doctor came in, he talked to Hades about my pregnancy, about what I should and shouldn't do.

I'm in my fourth week of pregnancy. The doctor said I might be delicate, so I need to be extra careful. Stress was the reason why I passed out, so Hades was told to keep me away from things that could stress me out.

I and the baby are doing fine, so we could be discharged immediately.

What happened to Dad? They saw me faint... Did I worry him?

I closed my eyes and put those thoughts aside for now. After Hades settled the bills, we left the hospital. He wanted me to stay for another day so I could be monitored, but I refused.

I could rest better at home than in the hospital.

The next day, Hades didn't go to the company to be with me and watch over me, so we spent the whole day together.

Tears pooled in my eyes. I tried to blink them away, but they wouldn't disappear. It's been a month since my mother went into a coma. She still hasn't woken up. There's no progress! Her surgery is done, but she's not waking up! I don't know what the doctors did, why she's still lying there?!

I couldn't help but cry in frustration. I tried to calm myself, especially since I was driving to my Dad's house.

Dad called me several times, begging me to come.

As soon as I got out of my car, I went inside their mansion. They greeted me.

Elle was smiling at me, so was Mrs. Fuego, and Dad. What do they want now?

"Why did you make me come here?" I asked coldly.

Dad approached me; he held my arms. I looked at his hands on me.

"What do you want, Dad?" I asked calmly.

I saw Elle discreetly roll her eyes, but when she saw me, she immediately plastered on a fake smile.

"Daughter... we no longer have our company," Dad began softly.

Ours? You never said I was a co-owner.

"Your company," I corrected.

Dad looked at his wife. I saw how Mrs. Fuego gritted her teeth. Dad looked back at me, now pleading.

"We need your help, daughter. Please, talk to your husband to give us back the company," Dad pleaded.

My brows furrowed. And that's the only reason he made me come here?

I thought we were going to talk about what happened the last time we were here.

Dad's company was going bankrupt, so Hades transferred the stocks to Hudson Corporation. Even though a part of me didn't want to help them, they're still my family. It's my responsibility to help them, but it's impossible to get the company back.

I shook my head. "I can't help you. Hades already took down your company. It's impossible for you to get it back," I said.

They fell silent. Dad slowly nodded in dismay.

"There's still something you can do to help us!" Our attention shifted to Elle.

She smiled and approached me. She held my hands, but I immediately brushed them off. Her smile vanished, but she forced a smile again.

"What?" I asked calmly.

"Divorce Hades," she spat.

Is she joking? I looked at Dad and Mrs. Fuego; they couldn't stop their daughter from saying that, could they?

"Are you okay?" I chuckled.

Her smile disappeared.

"Why would I do that?" I said, laughing.

"I like him, Diandra! You just stole him from me!" she thundered. I raised my eyebrows.

I didn't steal anyone.

I raised my hand, where the diamond ring Hades gave me was.

"He's married to me. You're engaged, Elle. Leave me and my husband alone," I said tiredly.

You like my husband when you're already engaged?

"I cancelled the wedding. He's not yours!" Tears welled up in her eyes.

Gosh, what the hell is her problem?

"You stole him from me!" she screamed. Tears finally fell.

I glared at her. I'm getting frustrated. I should be resting now because this isn't good for my baby. I looked at Dad, but they weren't doing anything to stop Elle, just watching their hysterical daughter.

"I didn't steal him from you," I said calmly.

"Didn't?! Diandra, he was supposed to marry me months ago!" Her voice was trembling.

Months ago? I remember during our last dinner together with Hades, they already knew each other. I didn't ask Hades about it because they were both known figures in the business industry, but I didn't know about this.

Tears streamed down Elle's face.

Her mom and Dad went to her.

"Daughter, please have mercy on your sister..." Dad said.

I scoffed.

What do you want me to do, Dad? Give Hades to her now that I'm pregnant? No way. I won't deprive my child of a father like you did to me.

"No. I won't divorce my husband," I said firmly.

"You're ungrateful!" Mrs. Fuego approached me.

Ungrateful?

"What are you saying? What did you do for me?" I asked. It felt like acid was flowing down my throat, and I wanted to vomit at what they were saying.

She fell silent, but Elle wasn't finished.

"He should have married me, not you!" she yelled furiously. Her eyes were red from crying.

I sighed. This is tiring.

"There's nothing you can do. I'm carrying his child. I won't leave him," I said and turned my back on them.

"W-What?" Elle screamed weakly as I walked out of the mansion.

Dad and Mrs. Fuego couldn't react. Only Elle was pulling me, causing me to turn around.

"No! No! That's not true! No... Please, Andra! Please!" she begged.

"Ma'am, are we leaving already?" Manong asked with a smile as he entered the dining area.I didn't look at him because I was busy arranging the food I was taking to Hades' office. "Yes, Manong. You wait me in the car, I'll just finish this up." I said."Yes, ma'am!" he said and quickly left."Ma'am, should I include these macarons?" Alyena approached me, holding the jar of macarons I baked last night. I nodded."Yes, please put them in the lunch bag," I said, finishing what I was doing. Seeing the food I had prepared, I smiled to myself and turned to Alyena. She had also finished putting the other food in containers."Alyena, please put that in the car. I'll just get something from my room." I instructed her when she was finished."Yes, ma'am. We'll take care of it," she said happily. I nodded and smiled at her before turning away.I went upstairs to our room to change my outfit. I wasn't sweaty or dirty from cooking, but I felt the smell of the food had clung to my clothes.I went

My tears flowed freely.I clung to his arm, desperately trying to stop him."Stop, please..." I pleaded.Hades paused and turned to me, a glimmer of reason flickering in his eyes. He cursed under his breath. If I hadn't been holding him, I would have fallen from weakness."I'm sorry, baby. I lost control. I'm sorry." Hades embraced me, his arms a haven against the storm. My strength vanished."Baby, I'm sorry..." he whispered. I said nothing. Even in my weakness, I m

My eyes widened when I saw his expression. The storm in his eyes looked so frightening. I could tell he was really furious."Hades..." I softly called his name. He looked at me. His gaze softened, but his expression remained serious, and the anger in his eyes was still evident.I could feel the dryness in my throat.I swallowed hard. I was about to touch him to calm him down, but he was faster. Hades caught my arm and gently pulled me closer. His face was grim as he lifted my hand, revealing the redness and Elle's nail marks. Elle's gaze dropped to my stomach. I could see her jaw clench before she looked back up at me. She smiled, but it was too obvious it was fake."I just wanted to say sorry for what happened last time, sis," she said. She doesn't look like she's sorry at all. I looked at her like she's some kind of joke.I stared at her for a moment. I wanted to say something, but I couldn't. Then I looked at our father behind her with her mother; they were looking at me intently. Dad was smiling at me, while his wife was glaring at me, but clearly suppressing her anger.I couldn't understand what they were showing. They weren't like this before. My gaze fell to my food."G-good evening, Mr. Hudson..." Dad greeted Hades. But we heard no reply.I dropped my spoon and fork onto my plate. When our food arrived, my stomach immediately starved at the sight of them.I'm enjoying the food and I was eating almost continuously."Be careful, wife," Hades chuckled.I looked at him. My eating slowed when I realized he had been busy peeling shrimp and putting them on my plate. He had peeled quite a few, but he had only taken a few bites from his own plate because he hadn't eaten much.I felt kinda guilty. I pouted. I could peel my own shrimp, but he insists, so I let him rather than argue again over such a small thing. Especially, in this place.I looked at my plate, I was almost finished eating... and I was full, but I still want to eat more... Baby, do you like the food?"Hades, this is enough..." I tried to stop him when he finished peeling one and reached for another, but he wouldn't stop and continued peeling. He seems enjoying it!"Hades, enough!" I snapped when he put another peeled shrimp on my plate. I glared at him; he's so stubborn! He was surprised by my raised voice

He caught me staring at him!I immediately looked away. Ghad, Diandra!"Are you okay?" he asked. He had already unbuckled my seatbelt. I frowned and faced him."Of course! Why wouldn't I be okay?" I said irritably and rolled my eyes. He looked at me with a hint of confusion on his face, then he sighed. He stood up straight and took my hand to help me out.I looked down at his hand holding my arm. Instead
