CHAPTER 140

The steady, constant sound of the device on the monitor suddenly showed a change. The straight line turned upward and began to wavy as Wilson's fingers moved slowly on the bed. There was movement. And a nurse named Liliana, who was working that day, noticed it immediately.

Liliana glared in surprise, but then pressed the bedside button to call the doctor on duty that day. Not long after, Dr. Benneth came and saw Liliana.

"What's wrong, Liliana?"

"Mr. Blake is showing movement, Doctor," Lilliana informed him. "I've checked his pulse, heart rate and blood pressure. He... has progressed. Everything is normal."

Dr. Benneth listened intently to all of Liliana's reports. He then nodded, "I'll check it myself," he said, and Dr. Benneth took out a stethoscope from the pocket of his white medical coat. He pressed the rounded end of the stethoscope against Wilson's chest, listening to his heartbeat which had changed compared to before. It was several minutes before Dr. Benneth finally looked at Liliana and nodded his head. "This is a miracle. We should call his attorney to inform him of this condition."

"Yes, Doctor," Liliana said.

The man with the glasses looked at Wilson, then took one of his hands, which was still limp. He touched the pulse on the wrist and silently started counting. "You're right, everything seems fine and normal. He'll be better soon. Let me know when you've called Mr. Blake's lawyer."

Liliana, the short-haired girl nodded. She clutched the tools and the board with Wilson Blake's health report in front of her chest. "Yes, Doctor. Do we need to do another scan of Mr. Blake's latest condition?"

"Sure, quick, get the EEG and MRI ready! Something is going on, it's truly a miracle if Mr. Blake wakes up from his almost twelve-month coma," Dr. Benneth urged, his voice barely able to hide his astonishment.

"Yes, Doctor."

"Mr. Blake... is all this related to the events that happened just a few days ago?" murmured Dr. Benneth, as if Wilson had already gotten out of bed.

Rapid footsteps echoed down the hallway as the medical team rushed to Wilson's room, drawn by the urgent call. Within minutes, the room was buzzing with activity as machines whirred away, capturing data that seemed inexplicable moments before.

As the scans progressed, an inexplicable pattern emerged. Wilson's brain activity, dormant for months, was now showing subtle but undeniable signs of reactivation. The previously flat EEG monitor flickered with erratic waves, a mesmerizing dance that hinted at the possibility of consciousness stirring within Wilson's comatose state.

The news spread like wildfire within the hospital-a miracle that took place in Golden Hospital's VVIP Room.

Days turned into weeks, and Wilson's progress became the focal point of medical discussions around the world. Many theories emerged, but none could explain the inexplicable resurrection of a man thought to have disappeared from the world of the living.Amidst the medical frenzy, amidst the debates and questions, there was one person who remained faithfully by Wilson's side-Liliana. Her unwavering dedication and faith in Wilson's recovery went beyond her duties as a nurse. A bond had formed between her and the man whose sudden resurrection defied medical logic.

Meanwhile, Wilson's lawyer, Mr. Donovan, receives a call from the hospital. He listens intently, his mind wrestling with the senseless news. The client he had represented in many legal matters was now at the center of an enigmatic medical breakthrough.

"I'll be right there," Mr. Donovan said, then hung up. Donovan said, then hung up the phone.

The tall, bulky man turned, looking at his secretary who stood faithfully waiting for him to take the call. "Maria, we're going to the hospital. Mr. Blake is showing movement, it looks like... he'll rise from the dead. It's a miracle. Prepare the important files immediately. And, bring the freshest fruits you can find from the best fruit shop for our client."

"Yes, Mr. Donovan."

The hospital corridors buzzed with unusual energy as news of Wilson Blake's miraculous resurrection spread. In the midst of her busy schedule, Liliana remained by his side, her dedication unflagging even as the world clamored for answers.

The days turned into a whirlwind of speculation and wonder. Wilson, once lost in the depths of a coma, was now an inexplicable beacon of hope. The media swarmed, experts theorized, and the world watched, mesmerized by this anomaly that defied the laws of medical understanding.

Meanwhile, in a world of legal complexity and structured order, Mr. Donovan grappled with the news of his client's resurrection. The prospect of Wilson's return from the brink of death sets off a chain reaction within the corridors of law and power.

As he rushes to the hospital, disbelief mixes with an urgency to make sense of these unexplained events. Maria, his faithful secretary, quickly gathered the necessary documents while ensuring the freshest offerings were obtained-a form of respect for the man whose return defied the norms of life and death.

Inside the hospital room, amidst the whirring machines and vibrating monitors, Wilson lay at the center of a narrative that transcended medical boundaries. His resurrection seemed to weave a tale of untold possibilities and uncharted territory, leaving the world on the brink of disbelief and wonder.

"Did you bring everything I asked for?" asked Mr. Donovan, as the car pulled up. Donovan, as the car driven by his personal driver sped towards the hospital.

Maria, who was sitting next to her boss, nodded in agreement. "I did, Mr. Donovan. Donovan."

"The news must have spread and all the colleagues will come to visit, we must be prepared for all conditions," Mr. Donovan added. Donovan, a look of excitement and anxiety on his face at the same time. "This... is the time everyone has been waiting for."

Listening to Mr. Donovan's words. Donovan's words only made Maria's heart skip a beat. It had been a long time since her boss had been so firm, cautious and ambitious at the same time. And Maria became carried away by the atmosphere between them.

They have the best chocolate in town and I want to try it."Now, it was Nicholas' turn to raise his eyebrows enthusiastically.
