KANE’S POV

Logan and I spent the entire day yesterday preparing for tomorrow. We placed our warriors in place and stayed up all night drinking and talking.

I was anxious but Logan kept reminding me of our childhood, everything we got up to and how my father used to punish us for all that.

All the stories kept my mind occupied and at ease. Then we were woken up by helicopters this morning and it all came rushing back.

My mate was not home, she and our pup were with a psychopath who keeps mutilating her. my anger rose but the sounds of choppers outside made me feel at ease.

It was time to deal with the prince once and for all. I have learned my lesson with him. Now when someone crosses me or my family. I get rid of him and his whole family.

I do not want to deal with shit like this ever again. I am tired of always looking over my shoulder and wondering when the other shoe will drop.
