Sebastian’s POV
“Is it true?!” Brady's voice was a deep growl. He was holding a document in his hand that he flaunted haphazardly in my face.
"Sorry, what?" I played pretense. Of course, I recognized the document in his hand, I didn't need to look at it with scrutiny. But playing dumb would buy me more time, especially seeing how angry Brady truly was.
"Are you saying you can't hear me, and that you know nothing about my query?” His brows furrowed. "Like I love ranting?”
“Of course not, Mr. Brady.” I rushed in. He wasn't going to blackmail me into saying what I was dying to say in such bad timing.
“Then what is this?” He slammed the documents on my table. "Care to explain?” He shrugged in a demonstration. "I'm listening perfectly.”
I guessed he had gotten the news already. The latest client I was working on, happened to be Brady's main interest, as they had everything he dreamed of; money, fame, influence... Every freaking thing.
