“What are you waiting for, Jasmine?” I groaned. "You have no choice... Stop fighting it.”
I sighed nonstop as I looked at my blank phone screen for the umpteenth time. It was over an hour since I tipped Jasmine, and she was yet to come running... Why was she this difficult? Damn! I sighed again.
“Oh, Jasmine.” I scoffed, aware that she might be playing the tough girl game. "It won't take long, you will be my damsel in distress, and I, your knight in shining armor.”
“Sadly, this is like a bone in your throat... One you can't spit out.” I smirked. "You either swallow it and live with the complication from the bruises, or choke on it.”
I had to forget about her, even though I couldn't stop expecting her calls. You wouldn't fault me, I was the one with a dying father who made a ridiculous wish. But then, the key to a perfect shot is knowing you are the game. When it was the right time, she would come to me, for now, there was no need to beat myself.
