I came back my arms laden with snacks and drinks and we sat around quietly munching. Steve and my father were keeping an eye on Arick’s camp trying to keep an estimate of people still coming in. They were already up to 7000.
Suddenly the door busted open and there in the doorway stood my twin protectors, my friends, my brothers. I jumped up and rushed over to them wrapping an arm around each of them, the others on my heels. They sandwiched me in a hug squeezing the breath out of me for a minute before letting me go to greet the others. Behind them was Corsica and Stanley and I greeted them as well. We all squeezed in the small area while they gave an update.
The twins had escorted the fae to their pack lands and had a quick visit with their family before returning. I was glad they were back and I told them that we had extra beds in the head quarters. Once Steve updated everyone on the numbers -8000 people now - we decided to call it a night. Tomorrow was the big day.
