I drew my sword and ran for Arick, not making it far before a were jumped in front of me. I dispatched him quickly and looked around for Arick again. I saw the working tirelessly with their elements, a storm brewing above us. The rain would start any minute and while that would hinder the fire fae it would aid the others. I fought off another attacker, still looking for Arick.

I was distracted and barely missed the claws aimed at my face. Luckily my mate, in his large black wolf form had grabbed onto the body that tried to attack me.

Eyes open my love, he linked to me as he tore into the other were. I turned and got a glimpse of Arick fighting through my second line. I growled loudly, putting power into it, causing the air to vibrate with my anger. The twins were nearby, fighting beside a few of the second line witches and fae. I used my air to push aside bodies as I made my way after Arick.
