I spent a few hours with my pack, double checking gear, and doing warm ups with them to make sure we stayed fresh and ready to go. I wanted to have dinner with my sister so I headed back through the portal and began looking for her. I checked the hospital, the mess hall and head quarters before going to central ops. There I saw my father and Steve watching the monitors. I asked if they had seen her and they both nodded no. “I saw her last in the woods. That was a few hours ago. You might check there though,” my father said looking at me.

“Alright. I’m going to find her and then go to dinner if you guys want to join,” I replied before walking out. I headed to the forest and began searching for her scent.
