Initially, as I start to feel my consciousness wane, and the immense pain throbbing from my tongue, these mesh of alarmed voices swirl in my mind until it all goes quiet and I’m drawn into a painless sleep.
In the end, I did something outrageous. I wonder if my family must be mad at me.
