Her voice was soft as she called his name, her pretty, rosy cheeks tinged with an unnatural flush. “Your tie doesn’t really match your suit today… you might want to change it.”
Jerry was momentarily distracted by her comment and looked down. “Really? It doesn’t? Then what color do you think would—”
When he looked back up, she was already gone.
He frowned in confusion. What’s up with Candice today? She’s acting weird.
