The Everwood Pack: Calypso
She was born into a family of werewolves. Growing up her life was pretty good, she had a kind loving family. She is the only daughter of Gavin Everwood, the Alpha of the Everwood Pack. The pack is the strongest in the territory. Many werewolves came from all over to pledge their loyalty to the Everwood Pack or to ask for their protection. This brought along many dangers to their doorstep.
He was part of the Blackthorn Pack, whom many despised due to their known cruelty and connections to the Rogue Hunters. The pack is known to give into their basic instinct, and many enjoy the kill. Growing up his life was very difficult; his father was a very cruel and abusive man. He is next in line to become Alpha, but he wants nothing to do with it. He never cared for the kill, in fact, he hated it, his father, and the pack.
They knew each other as children, in fact he was her brother’s best friend. But six years can change people and make them unrecognizable. Swept up in a whirlwind of murder, lies, deceit, secrets, revenge, pain, suffering, and grief. Will these two werewolves survive the changes and the coming war? Chapter: Chapter 74She rushed towards him excitedly, forgetting her anger for the moment, “You found him!”“I did,” he smiled. As she reached for the rope quickly, Lightning sidestepped, and reared, spooked by her fast movement. “Whoa there boy!” He said dropping the reigns of his horse, and grabbing at the rope with both hands, trying to gain control of Lightning. Chapter: Chapter 73Calypso awoke with a start as the tail end of a nightmare ended. She was at a warehouse and no one else was around, she was confused as to how she had gotten there. In the dream she was fighting the same large brown wolf that had killed her mother, years ago. She was exhausted from the fight, but she continued to push on to kill it. Suddenly, a large black wolf showed up in her dream, behind the brown one. She couldn’t make out its blurred face, but it was familiar to her. It growled at her and prepared to pounce on her, from behind the large brown wolf, she knew this was the end,the black wolf was going to end her life, just like the brown one had her mother’s. Chapter: Chapter 72Xander battled with himself and Shadow the whole time he was running, he fought for control of Shadow. By the time he had ran his frustrations, anger, desire, and all the other emotions out, he was exhausted. The mental battle itself was exhausting. He didn’t know how much longer he could take. After a while, Shadow finally gave him control and went to the back of his mind. Shadow had an unyielding desire to go back to the cave to mark and claim his mate, Xander, couldn’t allow that. Therefore, he fought Shadow until they both were mentally and physically exhausted from running and battling for control. They lay down in complete exhaustion in the middle of the woods. Chapter: Chapter 71As Rae approached the hot spring, she dropped the lavender on the floor and changed back into her human form. Calypso grabbed the bunch of lavender flowers and tossed them into the hot spring. After a few moments the scent of lavender filled the cavern, she then walked into the pool, letting out a tired sigh. She ducked under water, washing away all the dirt, grime, and mud, which had accumulated on her skin from the long trek to the cave, and the storm.
