Kael's POVThe familiar borders of the pack were coming into full view. It is dark, everywhere is quiet and only light from the guard at the borders. After driving for a few minutes, I picked up a faint scent of blood. My wolf howls and glances at my beta, he is dosing off completely unaware of what's happening.The partition stops me from viewing the faces of the guards. The car drives into the Alpha's house. I stare at the polished table in front of me while beside me my knuckles are white from squeezing it. The chandelier above shows my reflection which is that of pure frustration.
