Mateo’s Pov“ Mathew, get in the car.” I said, my voice low. And immediately, I also got into the car waiting for Mathew to make a move. As soon as he got into the car, there was a whole new level of panic across his face. And as soon as I noticed that, I knew one thing was for sure, he might be affected by the substance in the air. “ Hey, what happened?” I asked, my voice low. He turned his head to look at me. “ The substance in the air gave me an allergic reaction.” He said,“ What?” I asked, dumbfounded. Could that thing be made out of food ingredients? Or is it something else? I stared at him. “ Use the spray. “ I said, Immediately, his fingers tumbled across the bottles of spray right in front of him. Ever since he became my driver, I have kept all his medication right there in front of him. I knew all about him, and it was my responsibility to protect him from any harm. Although Mathew might be my assistant, he was more than that in the normal system. He was like a family.

Mateo's Pov As soon as the words left her mouth, she seem to understand the weight of what she'd just said, because I had forgotten how to breathe for a moment. Not only that, it was as if my lungs were not responding to air at all. “ I don't understand,” I said. For all my life, this is the first time my voice would ever tremble. Oh Lucifer, why am I in this dilemma?
