Chapter 2

20th of January 17:05

Richa had brought me to a motel. And I must say it's huge... God knows how many floors are there. I asked Richa the same question.

"It's a motel of thirty floors. It's owned by King Enterprises. Usually, it's a vacation motel, but King Enterprises are planning to convert it into a resort"  she explained.

King enterprises! Omg... It's the top first company in the world. The net worth of one stock can butt a country. The company has been among the top for almost thirteen years now. It owns several banks, oil factories, hotels, motels resorts, and restaurants.

"This motel will be very costly right?" I asked her just as we reached a room.

"It's nothing in front of what you'll be earning tonight!" Richa said.

" Oh" was all I can say.

The following next hours passed in a blur. As Richa helped with my manicure, pedicure, facial, and makeover. I was not supposed to see it until I'm ready.

When everything was done and it was time to change, Richa just blindfolded me as she helped me into a dress.

"You are making it as suspensive as if it was my wedding day" I mumbled to her.

"There's barely a difference! It's the same" she laughed her words out.

When I was ready she led me a few steps ahead " Now I'm going to remove the blindfold! " She said just as the blindfold dropped. Staring in the mirror.

I blinked. And then blinked again. The figure staring at me was no one I'd seen before. She was beyond beautiful. Her perfect silver brown hair was loose on her back, the tips were curled on the edge. A slight blush covered part of her cheeks which was much visible on her pale skin. Her glossy pink lips were parted in an 'O'. Her eyes–a perfect blend of golden and purple–were looking much more lively with the eye makeup Richa put on them. Apart from that, Her dress was a strapless knee-length red dress. Her black knee-length booted heels all but completed her look.

It was perfection staring at me.

"Whoaa! Richa .... I've never looked like this! It's almost as if I'm a new person!" I all but shrieked at her. Still staring at myself in the mirror. I've never had the money to look this goddamn pretty.

Richa turned to me. Her eyes were soft with gentle emotions. Now I can barely recognize her with the lady who wanted me to sell myself for money. I have a feeling that Richa is a very nice woman. It's just her need for money that hid her true self.

"Clara... It's you only, you were pretty to me from the moment I laid eyes on you. I just highlighted your beauty for all to see... Or in this matter... Your customer to see" Richa teased with a slight smirk. It made me laugh. Truly laugh.

"Okay okay, you need to get going now! It's time —oh wait I forgot something!" Richa said before she walked out of what seemed like a closet. I took the time to see myself a little more. Trying desperately not to think of what's going to happen tonight. I need to remind myself it's for Yahya.

Richa returned with a bag in her hands. She smiled before digging out a bundle from her bag. She handed the bundle to me. I opened the cream-colored envelope to gasp loudly.

"Richa this—" I almost yelled. Causing Richa to laugh.

"Yeah, This is four hundred thousand dollars, your advance payment. He'll pay the rest when you guys will be done." She said.

I eyed the bundle of dollars in my hand. Even if it needs one hundred thousand more dollars to run away to another country. It still is so much. I've never had this much money in my hands. Who am I kidding? I've rarely had money in my hands.

"I told you!! You'll be Richy rich after tonight!" Richa said. Tugging on my arm led me out of the room.

A moment later, when the bell of the elevator chimed. I came back to my senses. Immediately I stuff the cash in my bag and entered the elevator with Richa.

My heart was beating loudly. I'm going to lose my sense of purity in a matter of a few hours. It's a fact I can't come to a truce with.

A tiny arm wrapped around my waist. I looked up to find a smiling Richa staring at me. "Don't worry everything will be fine" just as the elevator opened.

" Your card, and in case you need your room password It's —" she said a series of numbers which I forgot immediately and handed me my card.

She gently pushed me toward the only room on the floor. The door was a black metallic door with a golden plate holding a room number. One zero two. Yeah, right surely I would get the top floor of the motel. Agh.

With a final wave, Richa was gone. I inhaled before getting inside. The door opened immediately when I placed the card on the scanner.

I was shocked when I stepped inside. The room was actually a glass penthouse. The king-size bed was settled near what seemed to be a balcony. Huh, glass rooms do need a balcony too? Rich people and their weird needs.

I walked to the bed and sat down. The blue-pink lights were dim. The vibe was as romantic as one can ever imagine. If just the sleep was not heavy on my eyes, it'll be more perfect.

I gazed towards the wooden clock hanging on the ceiling. It's almost eleven-thirty. Seven hours since we came here and—

My thoughts were cut short as the door opened. My heart skipped a beat when I was faced with a man I never even dreamt of encountering.

"Mr. Alistair King?" I whispered.

The owner of king enterprises. Of course, he would be the one to buy me tonight. I would have guessed that when I'd learned that king enterprises owned this motel.

His piercing golden eyes were analyzing me. He stepped forward once. Finally, I got a good look at him. He have raven black hair which was falling over his head. I know from news reports that he's just twenty-nine. But he looks more mature with the bulky muscled figure he carries. He wore a black Armani suit. With no tie. His collar buttons were opened, revealing a smooth hard chest. His look was completed with the Gucci shoes he wore. The only one in its stock.

"You're name?" He groaned in a voice that did something to my stomach.

"Clara" I whispered. Something on my right fell. I turned to see a book have fallen from the shelf. When I turned back. The next thing I know Alistair was gone. My eyes widen at the stack of dollars laid on the rack near the door.

He's gone? Without doing anything he paid me too? What the hell is happening?

I can't seem to understand what happened. I was still shocked. I don't have my phone with me. I forget it in Richa's room.

I was lost in thoughts when exhaustion took over and my back hit the mattress. My last thoughts were the golden eyes staring at me when everything went black.
