12 DAYS LEFT!

Alexander’s POV

An emergency board meeting had come up, so I left the pack earlier than usual.

When I reached the bottom of the stairs, I saw the pack cook setting the table. Our eyes met and she bowed.

“Good morning, Alpha.”

For a moment I was thrown off.

Seraphina had always been the one who served my breakfast. Even when she lived in the wing, she would come to the main residence every morning to set the meal herself. Why was the pack cook doing it instead?

I stepped cl

Seraphina’s POVI stared at Barbara for quite some time without saying a word.I knew exactly why she had come up here. She was here for one purpose only—to cause trouble. But I was not in the mood to indulge whatever scheme she had planned.I switched off my phone screen and turned it face-down. “This is a personal message, Barbara.” I held her gaze steadily. “It falls under my privacy, and I don’t believe I owe you any explanation about what I’m handling on my phone.”Barbara let out a dry scoff. “A personal message? Tell me, Seraphina—what could be so personal about that message that it can’t be shared?” She stepped closer. “Was the message from Liam?”I blinked, caught off guard. “Excuse me?”“There’s nothing to excuse here, Seraphina.” She crossed her arms. “You think I don’t know that you and that Liam Preston are in a relationship?”I did not bother answering the question. I simply stated the truth. “You’re being delusional.”I bent to pick up the jade, but Barbara’s

Seraphina’s POVBarbara’s fingers dug into her palm so tightly that blood nearly broke the skin. From her expression and the stiffness of her posture, it was clear she did not like the way Alexander had stopped me from leaving.Lady Margaret was no different. I had never seen her look at anyone with such open hatred before. After staring at me with pure contempt, she finally tore her gaze away and fixed it on Alexander.“Are you really going to ruin this family breakfast just because of this woman?”Alexander shook his head. “Seraphina is my wife. She is my Luna. That makes her a part of this family.”Lady Margaret opened her mouth to protest further, but Alexander cut her off. “The food must already be getting cold. Let’s proceed to the table.”She gave me one last look of pure disdain before turning and walking away. If it had been left to her, she would never have allowed me to set foot inside her home. This was the first time I had come to her residence since marrying Ale

1 DAY LEFT! Seraphina’s POVI was discharged last night.According to the doctors, I had sustained only a few minor external injuries. Thankfully none of my internal organs had been affected. The same was true for Alissa—she was perfectly fine.An annoying beeping sound suddenly interrupted my sleep the following morning. It was my alarm. When I checked the time, it was 8:30 a.m. When I checked the date, it was the 18th of November. The Doctor’s Training Program began tomorrow, which meant today was the last day I would spend in Alexander’s house.I took a bath and prepared to head downstairs. Once again I had been given sick leave because of what had happened. That would be my second sick leave in just a few days of starting work at the Elites. At this rate I wondered whether I would even receive my full salary.I left my room and headed down the stairs. I had asked Clara to prepare breakfast for me; I needed to eat before the food grew cold. When I reached the dining area, ho

Alexander’s POVEvery one of the officers froze in their tracks, including Mandy. They turned toward me.“Yes, Alpha.”“Keep her in custody and do not stop questioning her until she tells you the truth,” I ordered, my voice firm and carrying full authority. “I want results within a week. I will not accept failure.”The senior inspector nodded. “We will do as you say, Alpha.”They took firm hold of Mandy and led her out of the ward. The moment the door closed behind them, I turned back. My eyes met Seraphina’s. We looked at each other for a long time.I searched her expression, trying to gauge what she thought of Mandy’s arrest, but her face gave nothing away. I could not tell whether she was satisfied with the outcome or simply indifferent. The silence would have stretched longer if Harrington had not spoken. He cleared his throat.“Alpha, I need to head to the precinct. There is still paperwork that must be signed following Mandy’s arrest. I will take care of it.”I gave him a

Alexander’s POVI had never seen this woman before. She appeared to be in her early twenties, yet she was completely unfamiliar to me.I took a few steps closer, locking my eyes on her face. “I am going to ask you one question, young lady. Lies will not be tolerated.” My voice was firm. “Why did you steal my phone and take it away from me?”Mandy did not answer. If anything, she looked timid. Her hands were pressed together, fingers rubbing restlessly against each other. She was clearly frightened.I hooked my index finger beneath her chin and forced her to raise her face until our eyes met. “Think carefully before you answer me, Mandy. I do not have the patience to repeat myself.” My tone was cold, carrying the full weight of a top-tier Alpha. “Why did you steal my phone?”“I didn’t… I didn’t steal your phone from you, Alpha,” she stammered, her fingers trembling. “Believe me, Alpha. Someone gave me that phone. I didn’t steal it!”My wolf flattened his ears inside me. “Someone
