Sometimes I wish I could break my alarm in the morning. I woke up with a terrible headache. I told myself I would never go clubbing on a work day but anger had driven me straight to the bar.
I had to sober up before going to work because if Derek found out that I had been drinking because I was angry, he would freak. He was only a couple of months older than me but he treats me like his child.
I rolled out of bed and when I was standing up straight, I felt as though someone had dropped a huge stone on my head. I dragged my feet to the bathroom where my medicine cabinet was. I took an Ibuprofen from it and waited for it to work in my system.
Ten minutes later after the headache had lessened, I was about to take my bath when my phone started to ring. No surprise that is was Derek.
"Hey baby." I said after I answered the call.
He made a gag noise and said, "Can you not call me that? That's one. Two, you were out drinking yesterday!" He yelled.
"What the fuck?! Who told you that?" I asked as though it was the biggest lie ever.
"Camilla. She said she bumbed into you at the bar."
That damn woman!
"Well, yeah. But I only had a sip." I lied.
"She said you were drunk!" He said, still yelling.
"Wow, she really is a snitch bitch, isn't she?" I said through gritted teeth.
"Common,Ballo. You promised no more drinking during the week and no more drinking when you are upset and most importantly, you're not supposed to drink more than a glass of alcohol. Or do you want to go back to the way you were before?" He scolded me.
I bit my tongue from saying anything because I knew he was right about everything.
"You're right, you're right. I'm sorry, I'll try not to let it happen again." I mumbled. I always found it hard to apologise. Which is why Derek was the only person I apologized to.
"Good. Now bring your ass to work. I assigned you to someone as their personal trainer."
"First of all, who made you boss? Secondly, who?" It wasn't unusual for me to be someone's personal trainer. But this time I think Derek did this on purpose because he's upset with me.
"Camilla."
The moment he said, I knew that if he was in front of me, I would have smashed his pretty face in.
"Are you fucking insane?!" I yelled.
"What's wrong with that? She said she need someone who was efficient and very good at getting people in shape so I suggested you and she agreed. She said since you guys were friends, it would make things easier for her." He said and I could hear the smirk on his voice. The idiot was enjoying my misery.
"Fine, whatever. I will be there in an hour." I told him and hung up before he could reply.

After taking my bath and having my breakfast, I rushed out of the house and was at the gym in less than an hour.
I walked straight to my office but I still noticed that Camilla was not here.
"Where is she?" I asked Derek immediately I walked into the office.
"Good morning to you too. Camilla's at home. She said she wanted a private gym session." He said and handed me a piece of paper with an address on it.
"Well, maybe all she wants is for me to fuck her. I told you they always come around even when they play hard to get." I said with a smirk on my face.
"You are a disgusting motherf*****" He told me, making me to laugh.

The ride to Camilla's house was excruciatingly fast. I didn't expect her to live so close by.
When I got there, I put on my most confident face, walked to her door and rang the doorbell. I took it the beautiful view of her surroundings with the well trimmed lawn and beautiful flowers. The outside of the house was painted a nice cream color.
After a couple of seconds, the door opened and standing before me was Camilla in her gym clothes that made her look mouth watering sexy.
She wore a black sports bra that exposed most of her cleavage and lemon-green shots that were a bit tight, exposing her long legs. My weakness, long legs. 😋🤤
"Oh, hi Tony. Please come in." She said sweetly and moved away from the door so I could walk into the house.
"Good morning, Camilla. How are you today?" I asked sweetly.
"I am good." She replied.
"Just give me a second to put somethings in order and we can go up to the gym." She told me.
"Okay. Cool." I said nonchalantly.
After she walked away, I admired the decor of the her living room. It was more beautiful than the outside.
The walls were painted a really bright red, gold curtains hung on the wall and the sitting room was furnished with black furnitures. All the colors complimented each other nicely. Some might say it was too loud but I liked it.
I looked to the mantle were I saw pictures of Camilla and two kids that looked identical. Did Camilla have kids of were this just people she was related to or something?
She walked back into the room so I asked her.
"Are this your kids?" I asked pointing at the photo.
"Yes." She answered with a warm smile on her face.
"Cool." I said simply and made no further fuss about it.

When we got upstairs to the gym, Camilla played music that blasted through the whole house and probably the whole neighborhood. But no one complained.
While we exercised, I noticed that Camilla was already good at gyming and she was very determined. How was I supposed to hate her when she was so... The way she was.
I decided we should take a five minutes break to catch our breaths.
Very soon Take you Dancing by Jason Derulo started to play through the loud speakers and Camilla jumped on her feet and started to dance without a single care in the world. I made me laugh and soon I joined her in her dancing.
"Let me take you dancing
Two steps to the bedroom
We don't need no dance floor
Let me see your best moves..." I was singing to her when she stopped me.
"No, for you Tony, it's- Let me take you dancing, no steps to the bedroom." She said stressing the no and I simply rolled my eyes.
"Very soon, I'll prove you wrong." I told her with a smirk on my face.
"In your dreams. Now let's just go back to working out before I ended up dancing on your face." She threatened, making me to laugh.
Shit just got interesting. I thought to myself.
Camilla had no idea if the demon I was about to reign in her.
The moment the thought of me hurting Camilla came into mind, I started to feel guilty...
What? Gui lty... Snap our of it Ballo, she is only messing with your head. I reminded myself and shook it off immediately.
It was one of those days when I woke up with that hollow feeling in my chest. When I had the same dream that turned into a nightmare when I woke up.It would always start with me coming from school and seeing my mom standing in front of the door. I'd grin widely and rush to her. She'd pick me up in her arms and kiss my cheek."How is my little prince doing?" She'd ask."I'm fine mommy."Then we'd go back into the house. She'd help me with my homework. Feed me cookies and milk, then in a couple of hours, my dad would be home. With always a new coloring book for me or a new ball or something.I'd play with it for some time and then be sent off to my room to get ready for bed. After I am done getting ready for bed, my mom or dad or both of them would come into my room, read me a bedtime story and tuck me in. Then I'd fall asleep in the dream and wake up in real life,
It was another boring day of work, work, work. Derek had decided to keep me busy so I wouldn't even have the time to go to a club or even thinking of having a drink.Yes, in the past I might have had some issues with alcohol but I was totally fine now and Derek needed to understand that.I was in bed all huddled in my duvet and ready for bed when a phone call came in, interrupting my peace. This is why you should always put your phone on airplane mode in the night.I looked at the caller ID to see that it was Brian again. I grinded my teeth in frustration. Of all the fucked up people in this world to call me, it had to be the fu****."What do you want?" I asked with anger in my voice. I had zero tolerance for the bag of shit."Chill, would you? You don't want to end up in another court ordered anger management class again, do you?" He asked with mischief. I could tell by the sound of his v
I never thought in my whole life that any woman can look so good in just jeans and a hoodie but Camilla pulled it off perfectly. After we finish getting ready we went outside to of Camilla’s house. We were going to my house so I could shower and get ready. But when Camilla saw my bike, she freaked!“There’s no way in hell I am getting on that thing.” She pointed at my bike like it was bile.“Shhh. She’ll hear you.” I said and patted my bike softly as though the bike could really be hurt by her words.Camilla rolled her eyes, “I don’t are about how my words affect your bike. I am not getting on that bike.”“Fine. Then how do you propose we get to my house then?” I asked with a snort.“I’ll take my car and follow you behind on your bike.&rdquo
I walked up the hill, the bright afternoon sun hitting me hard, sweat dripping down my back and my chest. I was soaked. But I couldn’t stop, I never stopped till I got to the top.It was just a few more kilometers to the top so I dragged myself up. I liked the feeling of the sun burning on my back. I was so glad that I had put on some sun block and I was wearing a tank top and shorts, I would have had a heat stroke and the worst case of sun burn.Twenty minutes later, I had finally reached the top.I sat on a rock and took a big gulp of water from my water bottle. The water was cold and I felt it flow through me.I was hiked every time I had something on my mind. It helped me clear the cob webs from my head.I had just had another of my realistic dreams about my parents that I fucking hate. Every time I had that dream, it made me feel angry and
Camilla's POVI was at the hospital with Derek the doctors said he would be discharged in three days but he would need to be on bed rest for a month.I had been in the hospital for over an hour and I hadn't seen Tony. I don't even know why I wanted to see him I just did. Not like I came to the hospital to see him because that's not it. I was friends with Derek and I did care about him. But it was still weird that Tony wasn't here."Where is Tony?" I asked Derek."I really don't know. I haven't seen him since yesterday. I'm a bit worried though. Knowing that guy he is probably up to something stupid or he's in a Ballo trance again." Derek said. She gave him a questioning look. "A Ballo trance?" she questioned."Yeah. I probably shouldn't be telling you this but when our parents died, Ballo didn't really handle it as well as I did.
Four years ago...Ballo's POVDerek and I were about ready to graduate from High school. We were living with an African-American couple who adopted us because they didn't have any children. But they were mean set of people.Mr and Mrs Sheldon were the meanest set of people ever. They had adopted Derek and I for the purpose of turning us into their slaves. And Mr. Sheldon beat the crap out of us.So after Derek and I had graduated from High School, we left their house. We weren't fully eighteen yet so we had to escape. That's how we went from living in Chicago, Illinois to living in Los Angeles, California.Taking care of both Derek and myself was hard and I needed money to take care of both myself and Derek.Understand though, that I couldn't let Derek work. I felt like I was his guardian even though we were
Ball O's POV"I'm so sorry you had to go through that." Camilla said and that irritated me because she looked at me with pity."Please don't look at me like you pity." I told her without looking at her. All my life, that's all I got from people, pity and I was sick of it. I got that look of pity when Andre died, I saw it when my parents died and I see it everytime I tell people one of those sob stories from my past. And I couldn't stand it, it made me feel weak."I don't pity you, I actually admire you." She said.I looked at her but I didn't say anything else.We were still in my living. I'd been narrating my story for over an hour. Then I realized that someone needed to go back and check on Derek. Then I needed to get guards to protect Derek in the night in case someone came back and tried to hurt him.The worst part about this was that
Ballo's POVI had just gotten into underground fighting and it turns out I was really good at it. I was making up to $4,000 a week. I was a able to rent a nice house for Derek and I, buy a car and we could now eat regularly. Derek wondered how I was starting to make so much money but I couldn't tell him just yet. He was now in college and I didn't want him distracted. Derek worried a lot and I didn't want to give him a reason to do so. I had attended one week of college, decided it wasn't for me and left. Derek on the other hand was very happy to be in college studying architecture. Everything was going smoothly. Just a year after I started working with Romeo and his fighting crew, I got introduced to the world of drugs. At first it was just basic stuff, never really went into the real hard dr
