One of the things that toms often forgot about the God of Chaos was that Tricksy wasn't just the god of inconvenience and trickery, mischief and misfortune. Chaos was also a god of connection.

While it was amusing to Agent to think about Hades and his ridiculous no-fur trying to sort out whose kits were growing in his body, his other side, the immortal Tricksy, was creating a vital connection between these four souls. There were still tasks ahead of all of them and though they had formed two pairings with the Innehavre bonds between the toms and no-furs, that wasn't enough. They needed more.

Agent's mind wasn't focusing on that right now, however. He was busy playing with the stray strands of their life threads, tying them together like a kit might tie another's shoelaces together.
