After everything Ivy had told Abigail, she couldn't bring herself to be upset. Rather, she felt something for him that she never felt before. Pity. Yes. Abigail never felt as good as she did now, after giving Tony her piece of mind. He was such a jerk and she couldn't take it anymore. The table covered her view of whatever was ongoing but slender legs in black stilettos protruding showed that a woman was kneeling on the floor. Now she was aware that Tony wasn't alone. Her innocence gave her no idea as to what the woman was doing to earn such pleasurable moans from him. Ivy confirmed her arrival at Zcity in the evening and assured Abigail that her father was getting better. She even got to speak with him but could barely hear any word he spoke. Yet still, it warmed her heart. The more reason she was bent on doing everything possible to make Ivy happy, including enduring Tony's sometimes unthoughtful words. Tony wasn't able to go back to the office as planned, settling on keeping Dennis in Isaacs' mansion till the culprits were arrested. Isaac readily agreed because no one lived there at the moment and it would take some time to be ready. As soon as the culprits were apprehended, he would rent a two-bedroom apartment for him with a years' advance so he could pick his life back up. Abigail stopped, even more, troubled when he got down and opened the door for her, bowing gently, "your royal highness, we are home," he mocked her.

Ivy knew that if she had revealed it, Abigail wouldn't have signed. She wasn't an opportunist. Being oblivious to everything, her thoughts ran vicious when they sat next to Tony. The usual coldness and loathing that tensed up their partnership wavered. Tony drove with a light heart, trying to be slightly intimate, sometimes running his hand on Abigail's thigh while his other hand held the steering wheel. Each time, she shoved his hand away but Tony would put it right back till she stopped shoving it away. He was sending hints about tonight and she wasn't dumb to not know.
