LOGIN"If you won't satisfy me, then don't try to stop me from getting pleasure elsewhere," he said icily, turning to leave. "Will you stop seeing other women if I do it?" She asked sheepishly, facepalming in shyness. She couldn't believe she was considering it. "That will depend on how good your performance is," the ice melted from his eyes and all around him. When Abigail finds herself in an arranged marriage to save her father and revenge on her stepmother and sisters, she was never prepared to fall in love with a jerk like President Tony - the multi-time billionaire CEO of the Wrights Empire, and a playboy, who thought that no woman had the five or maybe six qualities he wanted in an ideal wife. Whereas, Abigail was determined to bring him graciously on his knees, till the only woman he'd ever want would be her, and her alone.

The city lights were dim outside the car window as I clenched my hands in my lap, sweating despite the air conditioning in the car. My heart pounded, each beat a reminder of the choice I was about to make—a choice that felt more like a death sentence. I have been here before. The towering glass building. The suffocating scent of wealth and power. But tonight was different. Tonight, I was selling my soul. I tried my best to dismiss any second thoughts but I couldn’t help but think that I was making a mistake. Maybe I was. But did I really have a choice? The elevator ride to the top floor crawled at a slow pace. My worn-out dress felt like a second skin of shame among the sleek business attire of those around me. They barely spared me a glance. To them, I was invisible. But to him, I was a pawn. The doors slid open with a silent ding. A pristine office stretched before me, all cold steel and ruthless efficiency. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the city like a king surveying his kingdom. And at the center of it all, behind a sleek black desk, sat the man who was going to be my husband. Sebastian Wolfe. Billionaire. CEO. Devil in a tailored suit. His gray eyes found me the moment I stepped forward, the sound of my heels clicking against the marble floor, the only sound breaking the silence of his office. He didn’t smile. He almost never did. Instead, he leaned back in his chair, one hand tapping a sleek fountain pen against a stack of papers. “You’re late.” He said, his voice smooth but authoritative. I swallowed the lump in my throat. “Traffic.” A brow arched, unimpressed. “Or second thoughts?” I forced myself to meet his gaze. “My family needs the money, Sebastian. Let’s get this over with.” His lips curled slightly, a hint of amusement evident in his eyes. Without another word, he slid the contract toward me. Marriage Agreement Between Sebastian Wolfe and Elena Parker The letters burned into my vision, branding themselves onto my soul. Six months. That’s all it would take. Six months as his wife, bound to his every demand. No escape. No turning back. “You’re hesitating,” he observed, his voice calm, almost mocking. “Have you finally realized what you’re signing up for?” I inhaled sharply. “I can read flawlessly. I know what I’m doing.” A flicker of satisfaction crossed his expression. “Then sign.” My fingers trembled as I reached for the pen. One signature, and my fate was sealed. I pressed the tip to the paper, forcing my name onto the contract. The ink smudged slightly from the sweat on my palms, but it was done. Sebastian took the contract, scanned it with cool efficiency, and then—just like that—he stood. “Welcome to hell, Mrs. Wolfe.” Before I could process the words, he stepped around the desk and reached for my chin, tilting my face up to meet his. His grip was firm, possessive, as if reminding me who owned me now. “We have a wedding to attend tomorrow,” he murmured, his breath warm against my skin. “And a honeymoon after that.” A sick twist of dread coiled in my stomach. “You can’t be serious—” “Dead serious.” His thumb brushed my jaw, a mockery of affection. “A deal is a deal, sweetheart. From now on, you belong to me.” The words settled over me like chains, cold and unbreakable. And with the stroke of a pen, my world shattered.Brian chuckled and explained, “No. I’m just afraid. What if she had fought back or hit you with something?” Kisha was about to say that no one could defeat her in a fight but then, Brian added, “Or what if you got injured or fell? Don’t forget that you might be pregnant and not know it.” Seeing the direction of the conversation and the level of care in his voice, she was filled with remorse. Indeed, violence never pays. “I will control my temper better next time,” she vowed but Brian shook his head, extending her yard of confusion. “I’m not saying that you should not defend yourself or let people walk over you. What I mean to say is, if you want to hit someone, call me to do it for you. I will hate myself for you getting injured because I could not protect you,” he said with a sad countenance. Kisha smiled and replied, “I get it.” A month later, Brian went with Kisha to Kalen’s wedding. A day after, they were invited to dinner by their parents but it was hosted by Tony and Abigail.
“I want her fired. I don’t care about the nasty things she said to me but for her to call Aunt Abigail a housewife, enjoying Uncle Tony’s hard-earned money as a stay-at-home wife, I can’t bring myself to forgive or see her working in this company ever again,” Kisha explained painfully. Abigail was one of the women she respected so much even when she didn’t know that she would one day be getting married to her son. Seeing the seriousness and anger in her tone, Brian was upset that Linda had the guts to speak to Kisha like that but also, she involved his mother. From the chilliness emitted by the president when he was addressing Linda, even the managers were on edge in their seats. “You said that about my mother?” Brian asked in a low growl, staring daggers at the battered face that had turned extremely ugly. “And what did you call my wife?” His voice tone was becoming dangerous, as he tried to suppress his fury. “I…. I…. Mr.….” Linda was finding it hard to form a sentence from Brian
Kisha calmed herself. If anything, she did not want to cause Brian any form of embarrassment “Is there anything wrong with that? Companies reshuffle every time and you seem to be stuck in the same position for two years. You should be happy that I put in a word for you,” she leveraged, not refusing the accusation against her. Linda was distressed. She only guessed but it turned out to be true. Being Brian’s secretary was her only way of getting close to him. She’s been at it for the past two years and was not ready to give up. “I might just be a secretary but I am paid better than most people,” she said directly, hinting that she did not appreciate Kisha’s so-called help. Kisha stared at her with revolt. “Is that so?” she asked with feigned seriousness. “How about I ask Brian to give you a 20% raise?” She asked again. “Will that be enough? Look, I’m being nice because, in a way, you feel inconvenienced,” Kisha concluded. Seeing that her first plan was not working, and Kisha was not
Kisha boarded a taxi to Brian’s office. Since it was her first time there, she was a little lost. Luckily, she met the receptionist who recalled her from their wedding pictures online. “Mrs. Wright, how may I help you?” She let out a kind smile and asked. Kisha smiled back, saying, “I am here to see Brian.” “I have not seen him leave, which means he is in his office but his secretary should know more,” The receptionist said, as she glanced at the secretary’s office, which was transparent due to the glass compartment. Seeing it was not occupied, she leveraged, “That is Mr. Wright’s office but I don’t know where his secretary is. Perhaps to serve his morning coffee.” Hearing morning coffee, Kisha’s heart twitched a little. “Thank you,” she said to the receptionist, and without knocking, she opened the secretary’s office door, and went through to Brian’s. Indeed, Linda was serving Brian’s coffee, and seeing Kisha, Brian smiled. Linda did not know that someone had walked into the offic
