Desperation was a moving van that made Abigail accept terms of marriage she didn't understand. To her, it was just a marriage on paper but the paper was mightier than thoughts or vocal words. What the paper held, granted her access to up to fifty percent of the Wrights' fortune, which she hadn't seen because the portion was covered. Being oblivious to everything, her thoughts ran vicious when they sat next to Tony. The usual coldness and loathing that tensed up their partnership wavered. Tony drove with a light heart, trying to be slightly intimate, sometimes running his hand on Abigail's thigh while his other hand held the steering wheel. Each time, she shoved his hand away but Tony would put it right back till she stopped shoving it away. He was sending hints about tonight and she wasn't dumb to not know.
