Give me your pain

"Dalia", Sydney called, walking in front of me as her voice registered in the back of my mind.

Her scent cut in with the scent wafting in from the door, confusing my nose.

What was her problem?

I needed what the guy had.

I felt myself rise from the desk chair, the strong scent calling to me.

I hissed at Sydney, my mind and body locked in on the lull by the door.

"Dalia", Claude's sharp tone registered in the back of my mind and my eyes snapped up to him.

"Snap out of it".


I frowned as a sharp pain registered on my palms, I found my hands clenched together, my nails biting into the flesh of my skin.

I looked up at Claude, my eyes wide in confusion.

What had just happened?

The door closed with a shut and Vivo was looking at me with a narrowed gaze, even Sydney was frowning.

When did I stand up?

The last thing I could remember was Sydney asking a question about controllers and she was seated then.
