Birth Of The Werewolf

As the starry night it was, there was darkness around the corner of the full blank sky, a vignette appeared as the dusk took over. The crystal clear moon shone over the massive territory of the crystal moon pack. The patrolling guards wandered on the border and tried to keep the security tight, as much as possible. The news had spread like a fire that the Luna Aria was in labour and soon, Alpha Damien Brook will be a father.

As the lively Alpha he was known to be, but his terrible and dangerous side had a reputation of the ruthless Alpha when it comes to his pack. Now that he was going to be a father, he was more dangerous than ever. The brook ancestry had a special bloodline, once in a one hundred and twenty five years, a werewolf born in the brook family was claimed to be special, powerful among other ordinary werewolves in the world. The werewolf was blessed but the moon goddess itself and they were sent on earth to maintain the peace and harmony.

Alpha Damien was aware that it must be his first child who could be the special werewolf. To protect the pup, he was willing to do everything…

Inside the infirmary, the labour room was filled with screams filled with pain and stress. The Luna of the pack was in intense labour and soon she will be able to deliver the pup. Beside her, laid the beta Female of the pack, Jenna, who was pregnant at the same time with full term, went into labour. Beta Jaden informed Alpha Damien about the news of him becoming a father as well.

Inside their office, Alpha Damien escorted his beta for a discussion.

"Jaden!!! You know what it means?" He asked him with one of his eyebrows raised.

There was something running inside Alpha Damien's mind which startled Beta Jaden as well.

Jaden was aware of the bloodline and to protect the powerful pup, he was willing to do impossible. He knew where this would land and nodded his head in agreement.

"Yes, I do. Don't worry, Alpha, beside my Alpha you are my friend too and to protect the honour of our pack, I will do as you say." Said Jaden in a low tone.

"Are you sure?" Alpha Damien wasn't sure Beta Jaden was willing to agree on his terms. After all, he was becoming a father too and for a father, it was the most difficult sacrifice to make.

"You don't really have to… I will manage to do something else." Alpha Damien wanted his beta's happiness too.

"Damien… it's not about the pack, not even the status. It's the bloodline. I am a warrior who was blessed to be in this pack to protect it. And so far, this is the best thing to do. You already know we have enemies set their eyes on us and this news will shake them. They will try to hurt you and your family, especially the blessed pup." Beta Jaden cleared the doubts in Alpha Damien's mind.

He was jubilant to have an understanding beta as an advisor to him. Now that he had agreed with the plan, they were ready to execute it. For the protection of the bloodline, it was a sacrifice both fathers were willing to conduct.

The midwife helped Luna Aria deliver the baby and soon, little cries echoed in the empty, tenseed corridors. 

"It's a girl…" the maidens shouted and informed everyone that Alpha Damien is the father of a baby girl. 

Soon, The beta Female delivered the baby and coincidentally, she too delivered a baby girl.

"Wasn't it amazing that two goddesses are born today." The midwives were talking to each other.

The alpha and the beta came along after hearing the news and Alpha Damien gestured Beta Jaden. He nodded his head and went to see the babies first before their mothers could see them. 

Alpha Damien walked into the room where Luna Aria was shifted into after delivery. He laid soft kisses over her forehead and greeted her, "congratulations Luna Aria.." 

"Actually, congratulations for both of us, Alpha Damien…" said Luna Aria before holding Alpha's firm hands.

Soon, the midwife brought the baby wrapped in swaddler and handed her to Alpha Damien.

"Here is our bundle of joy… look at her, she is so pretty… I will give you the whole world." Alpha Damien's words were filled with genuine happiness.

"What would you like to call her? Have you thought of a name?" Asked Alpha from Luna Aria.

"Ivory… that will be her name. It was my late grandmother's maiden name and since I had no other family member beside her, I wanted to give her her name." Luna Aria was confident with the name.

"Okay… so, Hello Ivory… welcome to our world." 

The giggles and laughters lingered in the room where new parents were having fun with their new born daughter. Beside their room was Beta female's room.

The beta couple were holding their baby in arms. 

"Jaden… are you happy?" Asked Jenna.

"Of course, why wouldn't I be happy?" Said the beta male.

"You don't seem to be… is everything okay? Did you want a boy instead of a girl?" Jenna was depressed after noticing that beta Jaden was a bit upset.

He held her hands and looked into her eyes, "no… I am blessed to be a Father, it doesn't matter if it's a boy or a girl. It's my child and I am willing to protect it at all costs. It's just that I am afraid of losing her once she finds a mate and leaves us." Jaden made a puppy face.

"Serious? That's how long you think about…" Jenna giggled lightly.

"Do you have any suggestions on what to name our baby girl?" Asked Jenna.

Jaden was in deep thought as picked his nose and came up with a name. "Orfilia… that will be her name.." 

Jenna was mesmerized when Jaden picked out the best name for her baby. A smile erupted on her lips and she turned her eyes to look at the sleeping baby in her arms.

"Orfilia… as brave as bear, as serene as moon…"
