Surprise dinner
It had been a week since I made dinner for Min and since then, he has been trying to impress me. He bought me the cutest flowers, carried me home after our run and helped when i told him I wanted to try new dishes.

The next morning, I woke up and felt really sore and tired. I turned to pick up my phone but it wasn't there. I checked the time and realized it was 10 AM, it wasn't so bad. I slowly open my eyes, blinking softly as I tried to adjust my eyes to harsh overhead light. I looked around and discovered I was in the hospital and someone was sleeping in a chair beside me. I tried to remember how I got to the hospital because the last thing I remember was getting drinks with Soo-Jin. She was the one sleeping in the chair beside my bed, i needed to ask her how I got here. I called out to her but my voice was sore and barely audible. I tried to sit up and that was when I realized I was hooked up to various tubes and monitors. Panic creeps in as I start to wonder what happened to me. The monitor catches on to my panic and started beeping loudly. The sound woke up Soo-Joo who looked confused but in seeing me went to call for help. A nurse rushed into the room and assured me that everything was alright and I was receiving treatment, I calmed down a little but I had a lot of questions. Since my arrival, Min has dropped subtle thing around the hiuse that made my life easier. He'll bing new flowers everytime the old one die, turn of my monitor any time I forgot to do tht, close the blinds so the sun doesn't affect my sleep, put my fully chsrged phone by my bedside. I listened to his apology but said nothing. I lay there in silence and listened while I watched the stars and when he finished, I turned to him, offered him a small smile, and continued to watch the stars, he said nothing but watched me, I could feel his eyes but I didn't turn to look at him. Our flights were booked, and it was time to fly out to Bora Bora, this was going to be our first couples' trip, and it definitely will not be our last, he probably thinks it is but it isn't. As much as I didn't want the trip to come to an end, all good things have to end. We boarded a plane and we went back to Singapore. The Singaporean air hit me immediately when we got out of the airplane and it made me nauseous. I have been feeling nauseous for a while now but right now it was very serious. I badly needed to get all the airplane food out of my system. Mr. Jiang picked us up at the airport and took us to the apartment, I thanked him and rushed into the building, to the apartment, into the toilet, and puked my guts out.
