Elaine's POV

I stood at the door in shock, my legs glued to the ground refusing to move. My gaze from Olivia to Finn. She was in her underwear, head buried in Finn's chest. Finn looked wrecked, hair messy, shirt hanging on the table as he buried his face in her neck, kissing her while his hands trailed down her body.

They would have gone further, stripping each other naked if I didn't barge in.

“What the fuck!”

“How could you?” I screamed, my voice ripping through the hallway. I tried fighting back my tears, but it wasn't working.

“Oh what do we have here? It's the weak pathetic omega” she said, tilting her head to face me. Her face displayed mockery, satisfaction and victory.

I tried to speak, but the words stuck to my throat, refusing to expose the hurt in them. I turned to Finn now fully dressed, searching his eyes for an explanation.

“Finn, I can forgive you if you admit this was a mistake. Just tell me it was a mistake and I'll forget this ever happened.” I blurted out. I didn't want to lose him. us. our bond.

“Someone's begging for love.” Olivia mocked.

I ignored her, fixing my gaze on Finn, searching for answers. I know, I was being foolish and stupid. But part of me still prayed he'd call it a mistake.

“Elly I need someone strong and fierce to stand by me. Someone worthy of being of being called my Luna” He explained flatly, finally meeting my gaze. “it certainly can't be you, You are just too weak” he explained. His voice, void of emotion.

His words stung like a thousand needles pierced through my heart.

“Really? This relationship took my investment and you want to trash all that away because she gave you her body?” I yelled, choking on my tears.

“Elaine” Olivia called, stalking towards me till she was an inch apart. “Whatever I want I'll get, I want Finn and I've got him, wrapped tight around my fingers” she whispered, grinning, before sliding back to his side.

I wasn't one who let others have the last laugh even though it hurt. I wiped my cheek with the back of my palm and lifted my chin.

“Olivia” I called moving close to her like a predator locking on its prey. She flinched, stepping back. She tried to look strong, but her eyes gave her away.

“You can only get my leftovers, that's all you are permitted to get – trash” I said, my voice dangerously sweet. I let my words sink in before stepping back.

Finn stared at me like I had grown two horns. As my reaction took him off balance.“The mating ceremony is tomorrow at dusk, don't be late.” he said, turning back to his table with an unreadable expression.

“Your absence would secure punishment. I know you wouldn't want that,” He added.

“I won't,” I said flatly. I turned on my heel and left them both in confusion at my behavior.

I burst out of the palace, took off my heels, and ran without looking back. Tears streamed down my face.

I ran past the trees deep into the forest without realizing it. I halted, finally looking around. I hadn't noticed anything while running.

I'm so stupid” I sighed, hitting my forehead “I'm so useless, I never get the good things for my self” my thoughts spiraled, failing to notice the shadows lurking around me.

“I think we had a pretty catch tonight” a deep husky voice rang out from the dark.

My heart hammered, my lips parted to speak but got stuck to my throat.

Five rogues stepped out from behind me. Dirty. Haggard. Unkempt.

“Now I can conclude that the moon goddess hated me.” I muttered to myself. My shoulders shook in fear, ready to accept my fate.

“I think we should have a little fun with her, before sending her off to meet her ancestors” another masculine voice rang out from the dark.

My face twisted in disgust at the thought of being abused by rogues. I can't fight them. They were many and also strong.

Four of them closed in, forcing me down onto my belly. Hands and legs pinned.

“Please, let me go” I screamed, crying, begging and kicking. A slap cracked across my face forcing my mouth shut. I cringed from the pain, but it wasn't compared to the pain tearing through my chest.

Cold air hit my bare skin as my clothes were ripped off.

I felt a weight on me as something hard went into my core.

Numbness swallowed me. The pain made me feel weightless.

I stopped fighting.

Stopped screaming.

There was no point.

The rouge on top of me grunted. Sweat dripped on my back. The others laughed. Urging him to be quick for them to take their turn.

Then, a shadow fell over us.

A low growl tore through the forest. Not one of theirs. There was authority i

n its voice. An Alpha I presumed.

The rogues froze, eyes widened in shock.

ISRAEL'S POV The night felt too long. Darian had curled up after our argument. I wasn't interested in speaking to him. This silence is better. After few struggles to fall asleep, I finally did. I woke up a few minutes past six to pains throbbing behind my temples. I must have drank too much last night. I could hear Anna's footsteps in the house. She must have seen the mess I made. I sat up, my mouth dry as dust. The whiskey bottle was on the floor, empty. My suit jacket was still draped over the chair where I threw it. "Anna," I called out, my voice hoarse. The footsteps stopped, then came closer. She pushed the door open slightly, holding a tray. On it was coffee, toast, and painkillers. Her eyes took in the bottle, then me, without judgement. She had seen this side of me a few times and she always stayed without questioning. "You drank," she said simply. I smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of my head, "Good morning Anna." "Training is at seven," she said setting the t

ISRAEL'S POVDylan had instructed that I assign each newbie a role except for Luna. The name “Luna" sounded somewhat bitter at first, but after a while I got used to it. At least I could get something to tease the ice-cold Alpha. I smiled to myself.I walked up to the newbies to get some information and my wolf Darian stirred again, when I saw Claire. "Hey I'm not taking her, from what I've seen she's hot-headed and she is not my type." I spoke to Darian.“You sure?" He asked in a teasing tone. " I can count the number of times you glanced and stared at her buddy.”"I wasn't staring, I was accessing her to see if she was a threat.” I countered."Keep deceiving yourself. She's our mate and I'll take no other person than her as our mate.” He argued"You're a pain in the ass Darian.”"Yeah I know and you love me for that don't you?” “Jeez, I hate you." “I hate you too." He scoffed “Beta Israel,” a voice called out, jolting me out of my frenzy. “You asked us to wait." It was Claire.

Dylan's POV "Then by the laws of the pack and the witness of the elders, you are mated.” Tony's voice rang in my ears a few moments after he said it. I stared at Elaine, wondering what she had gotten herself into. Well it was her choice, I gave her a second option, which was opting out, but she didn't. Whatever happens would be all on her and not me. “Could all the newbies step forward?" Tony's voice echoed once again through the hall. All the ladies alongside Clara stepped forward.Elaine turned to me, “Do I need to?" I nodded once. She moved towards Tony, he nodded once, before continuing. "Do you swear by oath to remain loyal to this pack and only to it, in life and in death?”They nodded in unison before answering, "yes we do.” A guard stepped forward, giving Tony a bowl alongside a wooden blade. He turned towards Elaine first, placing the blade in her hands. She gritted her teeth, closed her eyes and cut her palm, letting the blood drop into the bowl placed beneath her ha

DYLAN'S POV Orion had stared at Elaine again. This was the third time he did that. Tricia had delivered it right on time. I stood, my eyes fixed on the box laid on my bed thinking about everything but nothing. I walked towards my desk, I took my pen and wrote “Tomorrow," on it.
