Chapter hundred-eight

Katherine’s POV

I watched everything that happened from afar, too shocked to even move.

Was Daniel dead?

After Daniel had been placed on the stretcher and taken away, Caleb went berserk.

As in spitting mad.

I've never seen him so pissed off as he charged at the man that fired the gun which had pierced Daniel's chest.

The guy didn't even stand a chance as Caleb pummeled him into the ground, practically tearing him from limb to limb.

After that he went wild and started to tear into our opponents, the pain of watching Daniel almost die pushing him.

While I was distracted, several men came towards me and one of them had changed into his wolf form.

Snatching a grenade off a stash, I ran and threw it behind me because I knew there was no way I could fight them all at once.

Unfortunately, I wasn't out of the blast radius yet, and the force of the blast threw me thirty feet into the air. I landed hard on a piece of metal torn off a car and it was painful.

I could feel my enhanced healing kick
