Chapter Seventeen

Marguerite

I pursed my lips tightly. “I can go alone. I don’t need you to accompany me.” I insisted. Anders didn’t react, but instead leaned against his bike.

“Anders,” I called in exasperation. He sighed.

“I won’t interfere. I just want to ensure you’ll be safe.” He was dressed in the same outfit he’d worn the first night we met at the club. Complete leather from head to toe.

“Anders, I’m going to a strip club, and not a war zone.” I massaged my temple.

“Aren’t you forgetting something? This strip club,” he made signs at the air. “is owned by the man whom your mother probably sold you off to.” He pointed out.

“I took taekwondo classes. I’m not weak.” I snapped.

“I am not saying you are, Magg. Can you take on lots of bodyguards though?” He retorted.

“And you can?” I made a face.

He smiled. “You have no idea. It’s almost midnight, Magg. Let’s get going. We have to be at the academy early tomorrow, to report our presence.” He reminded me.

  • A Biker’s Valentine{Entwined With A Vampire}   Chapter Twenty-Five

Chapter Twenty-Five AndersI could still hear the rush of her blood as it flowed through her veins even as I hurried out of the room and down the stairs. I’d been aware of it ever since I pulled her into my arms back at the little forest. She’d smelled so good, and her heart had been racing so fast. I’d been tempted to kiss her, and bite into her neck. One of the guards hurried to me. “Is it an emergency?” He asked. I waved him off.“No.” I growled.“My word, Prince Anders. Aren’t you a sight to behold?” A grinning Qylers approached me from the other direction. His hands were tucked into his pockets. “The Queen said I’d find you here.”I ignored him, and took the quickest route back to the castle doors. He followed me. “You haven’t been feeding well. At this rate, your mother might force you into bedrest.” He pointed out. I barely heard him through the pain that was wracking my body. It felt like a hundred needles were piercing the insides of my stomach, and

  • A Biker’s Valentine{Entwined With A Vampire}   Chapter Twenty-Four

Chapter Twenty-Four Marguerite I was aware of how his gaze focused on me as I struggled to swallow down my food. The butterflies in my belly had nothing to do with how delicious the food was. “You’re eating,” I heard Estel ask. I raised my brows in question. Anders nodded.“I am.” He simply replied. His mother watched him closely. “I see.” She finally said. When I was done eating, I stood up from the chair like hot coals had been placed on it, and asked Estel if there was any library around, and a laptop that I could use.“Why are you in such a hurry, dear?” She asked, looking up at me with a frown. Her lashes fluttered against her cheeks as she blinked. “I need to attend a virtual class by noon. It’s almost noon, and I didn’t bring my laptop with me.” I explained. She was silent for a moment, then she nodded. “Anders could take you to the castle’s library. It has everything you need. Computers, and the likes.” She said, her gaze on Anders as she spoke. H

  • A Biker’s Valentine{Entwined With A Vampire}   Chapter Twenty-Three

Chapter Twenty-Three Marguerite It was morning. I stretched my limbs lazily as memories of the previous night poured into my mind. If I hadn’t witnessed some of them firsthand, I’d have questioned my sanity. I mean, who’d ever believe there was a portal that could let someone travel from one place to another? And who the hell would believe that Vampires existed? Not that I did, anyway. I observed the room properly. Last night, Anders had left after telling me that this’d be my room throughout my stay in his kingdom. Kingdom. As in, royalty.Somehow, the hot biker I’d been living with for sometime was a Prince. I’d barely settled in when a pretty lady wearing a form fitting shirt and pants came in, and waved her hand in front of my face, saying I needed to sleep. Like, literally. She waved her hand in front of my face, and suddenly, I was sure sleep was the only thing that’d do me good at that moment. I’d headed obediently to the four-poster bed and laid do

  • A Biker’s Valentine{Entwined With A Vampire}   Chapter Twenty-Two

Chapter Twenty-Two Marguerite As I alternated my gaze back and forth from the young handsome man Anders had insisted was his father, to Anders who was preoccupied with almost inhaling the dishes on the table, like everything that was happening was completely normal, I massaged my temple once more. None of these was normal. I’d never been so confused in my entire twenty-five years of existence. More importantly, I’d never been in the midst of so many gorgeous and otherworldly beautiful people all at once. According to Estel, they were all Vampires. I was certain they were just trying to scare me. I mean, I hadn’t seen any of them with fangs. Yet. And Vampires– if they existed– certainly didn’t look hot. They were soulless creatures. Descendants of Dracula. And their body always reeked. I touched on the cross on my neck. I’d sneaked it on when Estel hadn’t been looking. It was the gift my father had given me when I’d been little. It was the earliest and only

  • A Biker’s Valentine{Entwined With A Vampire}   Chapter Twenty-One

Chapter Twenty-One AndersI walked through the portal alongside Qyler, knowing I’d rather be anywhere but there. I hadn’t bothered to dress fancy, but knowing my mother, she was going to fuss over me as always. I wasn’t looking forward to it. “Does Marguerite know you left the house?” Qyler asked, striking up a conversation. At the mention of my vamp mate, my expression softened. We’d had so much fun at the amusement park the previous day that I had wished at some point to be able to freeze time forever. Her happy squeals as we tried out different rides was a sound I was willing to listen to every single day. “No, she doesn’t. It’s better that way.” I shook my head. “What’s better that way?” A familiar voice asked from behind me making my heart drop down to my shoes. The portal was already closing, but a grim-faced Marguerite was hurrying towards us, obviously determined to join us. I looked at Qyler for help, but my betrayer of a friend turned his gaze aw

  • A Biker’s Valentine{Entwined With A Vampire}   Chapter Twenty

Chapter Twenty Anders “Are you sure she won’t interrupt you?” Qyler asked in amusement, as he brought in the bags of blood into the painting room. I got up and locked the door to ensure no one could come in. “She’s working on a school assignment, and won’t be done anytime soon. And I haven’t fed in hours.” I added the last words with a groan.Qyler set the cooler of blood on the table, pulled out a chair and lowered himself on it. “I’m not the one who forced you to live with a human.”I shot him an annoyed look. “Keep it up, and you’d stop using this place as your painting room.” He held his chest in mock hurt. “Did you just threaten me? Who’d have thought my own friend would abandon me someday?” The painting room was decorated to Qyler’s needs. My friend was a popular artist who sold his paintings under an anonymous name all around the world. He hadn’t always been an artist, but living for a very long time could unlock different talents in a person. The r

  • A Biker’s Valentine{Entwined With A Vampire}   Chapter Nineteen

Chapter Nineteen Marguerite The cafeteria was less crowded than usual, and I breathed in relief as I took my seat with my tray of food on the table. I’d barely began eating when someone tapped on the table, interrupting me. My face closed up when I saw who it was.“We need to talk,” Jacob said matter-of-factly. “I don’t want to. Now, get going. I’m busy as you can see.” I pointed at my tray. He ignored it. “We really need to talk.” He insisted. I groaned. Jacob could be persistent when it pleased him. And in bad way of course. Knowing him, I wasn’t going to eat unless we had that talk he was going on about.“Alright. Talk.” I prompted.“Let’s get back together.” He took a seat, and adjusted his position, looking at me expectantly. He’d styled his hair in a different manner that day, and even had a fake tattoo patch on his face. I blinked once. Then twice. “I’m sorry, what?” “You heard me, Magg. You don’t have to be hard on yourself anymore. I know you’

  • A Biker’s Valentine{Entwined With A Vampire}   Chapter Eighteen

Chapter Eighteen Marguerite “I’ve made my choice, Louis.” I replied stubbornly.“Very well then,” he replied, and to the men, “Take her to the cleaning room.” “If any of you as much as harm a strand of hair on her head, heads will roll.” Anders warned, stepping closer to stand beside me. “And who are you?” Louis asked, his voice betraying his fear. “I am her man.” Anders declared, bending his head down close to my ears. “I know you have some beautiful weapons of destruction in your pocket. So, pick your side, and I’ll handle the rest.” I chuckled. “You aren’t going to save a damsel from distress?”He shook his head. “This damsel definitely doesn’t need saving. Or do you?”“You flirt.” I couldn’t stifle my laughter.“Tiens! Do you both realize that you’re in a dangerous situation?” Louis asked, with a look of disapproval.“And do I look like I care?” I drawled. His eyes darkened. “Get the girl, and throw the boy into the cell.” He ordered his men.“Cell?
