Chapter 14 Xander

Third Person's POV

Aiden held the strange girl, who somehow felt familiar until she stopped crying. He glanced toward the tree line, looking for Thaddeus and wondering where he had gone.

The front door swinging open draws Aiden's attention away from Thaddeus. The Omega saw a frantic Xander slide to a stop on the porch. His eyes move to the female in Aiden's arms, and the Beta freezes.

Xander's body stiffened as he stared at the girl in his Luna's arms.

The Beta just spent the last few minutes searching the pack house for Aiden. When he came out of the kitchen, the Omega was nowhere to be found. He checked the bathroom and nothing. He checked his room, and it was empty. The Beta’s stomach dropped at the thought that the Omega might have gone outside after he was told not to. Xander ran down the stairs faster than he ever had. Not only did the Omega ignore a direct order from the Alpha, but she was in his arms.
