CHAPTER 4

After three days, as they were preparing for the project report in the meeting office.

Yzak entered and took a seat facing them.

"Only Samantha will report this project to me. The rest of you can go back to work" he said, catching her team off guard.

The team members looked surprised and She felt a surge of nervousness as he's cold blue eyes locked onto hers. Her teammates filed out of the meeting office and she exchanged a glance with Kelsey before turning her attention back to him

With the door closed she began her report her nerves intensifying as he's serious expression remained unchanged. he's gaze was fixed on her but she suspected he might already know the project's details given his intelligence.

The report lasted an hour during which he's attention remained fixed on her.

When she finished she let out a sigh of relief. "That's all for the project report" she said.

He response was brief: "Great report. I'd like to discuss something with you in my office."

He stood up and walked towards his office without waiting for a response.

Her reaction was a soft "Heh"

Betraying her uncertainty about what lay ahead.

She wondered if something was wrong with their project given he's lack of response or comment during the report. She followed him to his office feeling a mix of uncertainty and curiosity.

"I'd like you to come with me tomorrow to the Bella Venezia restaurant" he said

"For what sir?" She asked.

"We'll be meeting with other CEOs and I'd like you to report on our project" he explained

his words surprising her, As a fresh employee she was being given a significant opportunity to showcase her skills to other CEOs which could boost her career prospects.

"Would you like to take it? It's an opportunity to show your skills to me Miss Samantha Lynn" he added.

"Y-yes, sir. It's an honor. I'd like to thank you so much for this opportunity, sir" She replied, feeling thrilled and grateful.

This was a turning point in her career and she felt a sense of excitement and anticipation about the future.

"That's all. You may go back to work" he said calmly, opening his laptop.

As She left his office he couldn't help but smile, thinking about her presentation earlier.

"Since when did I get interested in you, Samantha Lynn?" he wondered, taking off his glasses and lost in thought.

"Wow, congratulations, Samantha! You've got a big opportunity to meet different CEOs" Kelsey exclaimed.

"We've been senior employees here for two years, but we've never had an opportunity like this and with the handsome CEO" Kelsey added

Admiring her good fortune.

"I don't know what's going through Sir CEO's mind, and why me?" She asked her colleagues.

"Maybe he found out you're good at delivering reports and can encourage other CEOs to negotiate with our company" Dave suggested.

"Really? How fast! I'm still a fresh employee here with no experience in new projects at Henriad Corporation" She replied and surprised.

"Well, you know our boss is smart and has high standards. I think he trusts you well, and he wouldn't accept an employee who's weak-willed. He's a good boss" Kelsey said with a smile.

After work She headed home early to prepare for the next day.

[On the next day]

Early in the morning, She arrived at the meeting place with the three CEO companies and waited for Yzak to arrive.

A couple of minutes later, he entered at the Bella Venezia Restaurant and spotted her waiting for him inside.

"Good morning, sir" She greeted.

"Good morning. Did you prepare for it?" he asked.

"Yes, sir" she replied.

"Well, then let's go meet the CEO companies" he said

leading the way to the private room for their meeting and she followed closely behind.

Upon entering the private room hw was greeted by the three CEOs, who shook hands with him.

"Good morning, sir" they said in unison.

"Well, then let's start the negotiation. This is Miss Samantha. She'll explain everything about our negotiation today" he said, taking a seat.

"Yes, of course. Let's start" one of the CEOs replied.

Samantha began her report in front of the CEOs.

After two hours of negotiation, Yzak was impressed by her performance. She had clearly prepared well for the meeting.

But, whenever she accidentally glanced at him, he would smirk silently watching her stand confidently while reporting.

"Well done, Sir Yzak. You have a good negotiation team. It's very nice to work with your company" one of the CEOs said.

"And we hope it will raise the highest rank. We count on your company, sir. Thank you" another CEO added.

"Yes, of course. We won't let you down on this. Thank you so much" he replied in a calm tone.

"Well, we look forward to it. It's all done here, so we'll take our leave. And again, thank you, Sir Yzak" the CEOs said before departing.

As the CEOs left, the room fell silent. he turned his attention to her who was standing by the side.

"Good job, Miss Samantha. You did your work well. Shall I consider your promotion for this work?"

he said in a calm voice, his eyes fixed on her.
