The moment I saw Mrs. Williams' car, I decided to go visit my boyfriend to avoid arguing with her. Come to think of it, we haven't spent much time together. He's been busy lately, and I didn't want to bother him or anything. Sometimes, I would sleepover at his place or Emily's when my mom and I argued.

David and I have been dating for the past two years, but we haven't been spending much time together because he's been very busy lately. Ever since his dad made him CEO, things haven't been the same.

I arrived at his penthouse; the guards let me in, but they didn't look me in the eye as I said hi. They looked worried and concerned instead. Something is wrong, but I will ask them on my way out.

The moment the door opened, my breath hitched for a second. What is she doing here? How could he do this to me? I looked at the blonde right in front of me, who was none other than my sister. Why is she wearing his shirt? He never allowed me to put on his shirt. If I put it on without his consent, he would flip, and here's my sister in his shirt.

"I told you he was never yours," she smirked at me. "Nobody will ever love you, darling. Get that through your head. You're better off alone." I blinked back a few tears that were threatening to come out. I won't give her the satisfaction of hurting me.

"Babe, who's there?" the man I fell in love with came up right behind her with a towel wrapped around his waist. It seems he just came out of the shower. He wrapped his arm around her waist and kissed her. He fucking kissed her right in front of me. If I said that what happened right in front of me didn't hurt me, it did. A lot. I felt so betrayed, and my heart felt like it had been stabbed a thousand times. I should have known something was up when he became so distant and cold towards me, but being the fool I am, I thought it was because he had a lot to deal with. And I guess the award of being the biggest fool goes to me.

"Alexandria, what are you doing here?" his face void of any emotion. I closed my eyes for a while and opened them.

"I came to... you know what, never mind. I should get going." I turned, ready to leave, but he stopped me. Of course, what does the idiot want now?

"Ria, wait."

"You have no right to call me that. It's Alexandria to you, dickhead."

"Look, just face the fact that..." I cut him off before he could continue.

"I don't want to hear what you have to say. Whatever we had between us is over."

He looked at me with an amused expression on his face and started laughing. Is he crazy? Why is he laughing? "Babygirl, there was nothing going on between us. Absolutely nothing. I don't even know where you got the idea that you and I were dating. You're nothing close to my type. Oh, and why don't you get yourself a job and make yourself useful for once?" he chuckled and turned his attention to my sister, who was enjoying all this.

"You asshole, you are nothing but a fucking coward!" I slapped him before my sister could say anything. As well, I slapped her as well.

"I wish y'all a happy life, jerks." I rolled my eyes and left his premises. I decided to walk home because I needed to think and have some time to myself.

I arrived home, but I knew they were all home, so I got in through my bedroom window because I knew they were all home, apart from that slut. I took a quick shower as soon as I got in and put on pajamas once I was done showering.

I won't cry over him. I will show them all I can do it. I will get myself a job. When my sister told them she wanted to be a model, they supported her. But when I told them I wanted to be a fashion designer, they didn't support me for a second. Instead, they wanted me to be Lorenzo's personal assistant. I can't handle being around that guy. He's so impossible. He treats me like a servant, yet I'm his sister. I don't care if they won't support me; I will find a job myself. Having parents like mine is a nightmare. They want to be in full control of your life, from what you eat to what you do. Unfortunately, my siblings allowed them to do just that. But I didn't give them a chance to control my life. I was just the opposite of everyone else. While they were the perfect children with no suspension records at school, I was suspended several times at school.

I will find a job and move out of this place.

I woke up the following day and left early. I needed to find a job, and that's today. It's been 4 hours since I left the house, and no job yet. Nobody told me finding a job is this hard.

For the past two days, I have tried everything, but I keep on getting rejected. So, I thought of trying something different. If successful, I might become an actress.

Is this it I should stop him but what if he's letting me go cause he doesn't love me oh Alexandria you will never know if you don't take the risk just stop him already "Alexander" I yelled. He closed the door and came rushing to me "what happened Alexandria are you hurt?" he asked as he examined my body for any injuries. "No I'm not I don't want you to go I forgave you for what you did okay what really hurt me is that you never bothered to check up on me but now that you are here I don't want you to leave but if you want to its okay you can go" I said all in one breath. He opened his mouth to say something but I beat him to it "I completely understand if you don't want to be with me and you want to be with Elena if she makes you happy then I'm happy too" I glanced at him only to find him smiling. "Why are you smiling I know I sound like a fool but you don't have to be so mean about it forget I said anything you should get going its getting late." He gently held my hand and chuckl

"Grandma, come on, you've helped me enough. I can't take this," I tried to tell her, but I guess she won't listen to me."No, no, sweetheart, this is not enough. Trust me, and besides, this place is good, and that way, I can be assured that you're safe," she glanced around the place."But, grandma, you already helped me set up the restaurant. In fact, you did most of the work," I said with a frown on my face."And that's my work, sweetheart. Now, this is your new house," she said in a cheerful voice. I like this free side of her; she acts like a teenager, a 60-year-old teenager, for that matter. I smiled at that thought."Hey, Gran, your daughter hates me so much, and I thought you hated me too, but surprisingly you love me," I said, only for her to smack on my forehead. "Ouch, what was that for?" I asked her as I rubbed my forehead."That was to knock some sense into your head," she shook her head. "Silly girl, that's my daughter and not me. If she doesn't like you, that's her loss, n

"His only with you because of a business deal that he's about to close. For that to happen, he needs to be married, and that's where you come in."Those words won't stop ringing in my head. I have to stop thinking about it, but how can I when I get to see him every day, and it hurts so much? Hazel insisted we spend the night at their place, which we did. I don't know about Xavier, but I slept in his old room."Good morning, Mom," I told her, earning a wide smile from her that quickly turned into a glare when I got my milkshake from the refrigerator."Okay, okay, I'm putting it back," I said and sat down."Good girl. Let's go have our normal breakfast, and then you can have your ridiculous breakfast," she scrunched up her face as if it was something disgusting."Good morning, Mr. Romano," I told him as I pulled out a chair for me to sit."Good morning, Alexandria, though I prefer you call me Dad. What do you think?" he asked me with a smile on his face."I think it's okay, Dad."I decid

I let out a yawn as I opened my eyes and stretched my body, wondering what time I fell asleep yesterday."I don't know, but you left me hanging last night," he said as he placed the tray on the bedside table. He's here? What is he doing here? "Shouldn't you be at work?" I asked him, noticing he was dressed in a three-piece charcoal grey suit."How can I go to work when my wife is still asleep, hasn't had her breakfast yet, and has an hour and forty-five minutes to prepare for work?" he said with a playful smile on his face.I threw the comforter aside and rushed to the bathroom while he was busy laughing. I fixed my hair one last time and left my room, only to find Alexander standing in the living room with his back to me. I thought he left for work."Why are you still here?" he turned, his eyes roaming down my body."I was waiting for you. Now that you're done, shall we get going?" he asked me as he checked the time on his watch."Why the special treatment all of a sudden?" I crossed

I let out a yawn as I changed into my working attire. It seems Alexander is still upset with me because he hasn't said a word. It's been two days now, but mostly I think it's because he went out on a supposed business trip. I can't say he's lying because I don't know anything about his schedule."Alexandria, can you go check on the customer who just walked in? I really need to pick up this call, it's an emergency," she looked at me, waiting for a reply."Okay, sure," I said softly and left the room to go attend to the customer. Time for me to start smiling."Welcome to Crystal's Boutique," I said with a huge smile on my face. He turned, showing me his perfect smile."Alexandria, I didn't expect to find you here," he said in his husky Spanish accent. Today he was in casual attire, and he really looked handsome."I work here," I told him as I glanced around the place to avoid his intense gaze. His phone rang, ending the awkward silence between us. He picked it up, his eyes on me, "I wil

"I'm so glad the day is finally over," I told my workmate, Stella, as I changed into my clothes."Same here, girl! Can we grab some smoothies or ice cream before we go our separate ways?" she said, giving me her puppy dog eyes."Okayyy, let's go, but let's hurry up cause I have plans, and I can't afford to be late."She squealed in excitement and grabbed my hand."Stella, calm down!" I yelled, hoping I would get her attention. She slowed down and turned to me, "What flavor would you like, sweetheart?"I shook my head, "Vanilla is okay for me."She looked at me in disbelief, "Girl, you just want vanilla? Just vanilla? Argh, you are so boring."I sat down as I waited for her to come back with the ice cream. Can't I come up with an excuse to avoid this? I don't like such events."Here's your boring ice cream," she handed me my vanilla ice cream."Thank you, drama queen," I said, earning a glare. We talked and had fun a bit, and the moment that I was hoping to escape from came sooner than

I dried my hair as I got out of my bathroom. Once I was done, I changed into something more comfortable and relaxing."How was work?" Gina asked me as I walked into the kitchen.I sat down, "It was stressful, tiring, every horrible word you can imagine."She chuckled and handed me a cup of coffee, "Here, have some coffee," she suggested."No, I don't like coffee. Can you please make some hot chocolate, please?"She smiled, a genuine smile on her face, "As you wish, Mrs. Romano," she said, earning a glare from me."Heyyyy, I thought we agreed you wouldn't call me that," I said in a stern tone.We were both lost in our own worlds, laughing and telling each other funny stories and embarrassing ones, but it was ruined when someone cleared their throat."Elena? What is she doing here? Because Alexander is not here.""You, why are you here? Where's Alexander?" she asked in a demanding tone.Is she talking to me? Because I don't think she's talking to me. If she is, there's no need to talk t

"Thank you for shopping at Crystal boutique, and please do come back next time," I told her with a smile on my face. She returned the smile as she took the shopping and gave it to her bodyguard, "thank you. I will surely come back. I'm Clara, by the way.""I'm Alexandria, nice to meet you."She whispered something to her bodyguard and turned her attention to me, "Well, Alexandria, it was nice meeting you. Sadly, I have to get going. I will see you next time I come here."Today must be my lucky day. It is not every day you get to meet such a kind customer. I'm so tired; I can't wait to get home and take a long, relaxing bath because I need one. My body needs it and a body massage."Heyy, Ria, how was your day?" she yelled as she popped out of wherever she was."Stella," I groaned, "you don't have to be so loud, girl. Geez, are you trying to make me deaf?" I whined as I looked at her green eyes. She giggled and sat on the counter, "Oh, I'm sorry, Ria. I didn't mean to be so loud, but th

"Well, nice to meet you, Miss whatever you are, but will you please calm down and stop yelling?" I glanced at Gina, who just shrugged her shoulders. She walked towards me, her green orbs glaring at me, "Who the hell are you?"I maintained my posture. I won't let her intimidate me. "I should be asking you that?""I'm Alexander's fiancée, honey." She showed me her engagement ring. "We are getting married, so you better get the hell out of here before I make you.""His fiancée, you say? Wow, that's interesting." I raised my hand, flashing my wedding ring at her so she could get a proper look at it. I'm so lucky I put it on today, or else. "You see this ring? We got married. He put this ring on me, and it wasn't by force, honey. So get out of my house."She looked at my hand in disbelief, "You are the slut he got married to instead of me!" she yelled, "That is my ring!" she yelled hysterically.I shook my head, "Correction, was your ring, but not anymore. He's my husband now."She harshly
