Three days, and for three days, I've been looking for a job, but I couldn't find one. Well, I did find one at first, but I was fired on the first day because my caring sister decided to cause trouble. I just don't know what's wrong with that girl. Because I lost my job, Mrs. Williams wouldn't stop talking about it, but I won't give them a chance to rule my life. I really don't know what to do, but I know one thing for sure—I won't give up. I will keep on trying.

"Ugggh, why is it so damn hard to find a job?" I left my room and went to the kitchen. I looked around just to make sure none of my family members were home. I don't want to talk to them. I sat down on the kitchen bar stools, trying to decide what I was going to have for breakfast, then my stupid brother showed up, and my appetite flew out the window. I mentally rolled my eyes and decided to leave before he opens his mouth and says something stupid.

"Victoria, just stop pretending and accept the fact that you're nothing without Mom and Dad. Your life is completely useless. At least they can make it useful. The position is still vacant; just say the word, and you're in. It's as simple as that," he said in a flat tone.

"Who the fuck is Victoria, and I'm not working for you. I don't need Mom and Dad to be successful and independent." I just feel like strangling him, and being in the same room with him isn't helping.

"Oh, I thought you were Victoria. What's your name again?" he asked me in a bored tone.

"None of your fucking business. That's my name. Now get out, I'm trying to eat, and you being in this room isn't helping."

He glared at me. Looks like someone is angry. "What's wrong, are you hungry?" I rolled my eyes and faced the other side. I was lost in my own thoughts when someone roughly grabbed my arm, who was none other than my brother. His grip tightened on my arm; it was surely going to leave a bruise.

"You're hurting me, you jerk! Let go of my arm!"

"Shut up!" he yelled, making me flinch at the tone of his voice. "I won't tolerate you talking to me like that, especially someone like you. Talk to me like that again, and you won't like the consequences." He roughly pushed me aside, and I landed flat on my ass. Tears filled my eyes, but I wasn't going to cry because of someone like him. I stood up, ready to leave the kitchen, when Maria stopped me. She's the only one who's kind to me; the rest of them are so rude to me, including the maids. I really need to leave this place.

"Where are you going, my dear? Come, have breakfast with me," she looked at me, her eyes full of concern.

"I'm not hungry anymore. Thanks, Maria, but I want to be by myself right now." I just hate it here. I need to find money and move to another place. I need my own space.

''Come, bambola, I will get you some food," I sat down because she will still force me to eat even if I say no.

I managed to find a job or something like that. It was hard convincing the director, but I managed somehow. "Fine, you will try out for the part as a runaway bride. I expect you to do your best after all that ranting that you did. I want you to leave me speechless, as you said," he said in a firm and stern tone.

"I will leave you speechless, don't worry. This is something I'm very good at, and I won't disappoint you. Trust me, I..." He stopped me before I could finish talking.

"Has anyone ever told you that you talk too much? If no one's told you, I will be the first one to tell you, you talk too much. I will send you the address, don't be late," he left before I could say anything. Hmmmm, such a strange man. I didn't even say what I wanted to say, but who cares? I need to make sure I impress him. I really need this to work out so that I can get out of that cage as soon as possible.

I woke up quite early because I was excited for the auditions. I took a quick shower. Once I was done, I put on a denim shirt and black shorts with black Nike Air Force. I put my hair in a neat bun, picked up my phone, and put it in my clutch. I left the house using the back door. I called a cab and set off to my destination. Once I arrived, I looked at the place, and it was beautiful—all this just for auditions.

"What are you doing here? You need to get ready," she asked as she grabbed my hand before I could say anything. In no time, I was in a room with different people helping me get ready. When they were done, they helped me put on the wedding dress. It was beautiful. It was an off-shoulder wedding dress. Quick question, is it just me, or does this feel like a real wedding? Never mind.

"You look beautiful," the red-haired girl complimented me.

I smiled and thanked her. Why can't I see that director?

"You look beautiful, Anna. I'm sorry your father couldn't make it, so I will walk you down the aisle."

I nodded, unable to say anything. My heart was pounding against my chest like it could fall out any time. What's really happening? Am I at the wrong address or what?

He walked me down the aisle. I must say they had good taste in choosing a venue. It was an outdoor wedding. Everything was so perfect and expensive. Hmmmmm, I hope I'm not in the wrong place.

I stood there, looking at the groom. He was handsome. Did they have to include the Greek God in this? His brown hair was slicked back in a messy way, but it looked good. His blue orbs were staring at me, full of confusion and anger. Wait, wait, so I might actually get a job after this? I won't disappoint him. I need to leave that place. I can't stand being there anymore. The longer I stay there, the higher the chances of me losing my mind. I felt someone squeeze my hand, which brought me out of my thoughts. I found the groom and the priest staring at me.

"I do," I said as I kept my gaze down.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

He moved closer and whispered, "We need to talk," and placed a kiss on my lips. I just stood there dumbfounded by what happened. I wasn't supposed to be here for the kiss, but who cares? He kissed me. Get a hold of yourself, Ria. It's just a kiss, nothing else. My subconscious mocked me.

When all the wedding procedures were done, he grabbed my hand and took me outside.

"Who are you?" he demanded.

"I'm Alexandria. Nice to meet you. And you are?"

I said in a polite voice. He opened his mouth to say something, but I cut him off. "I hope I get the part. You won't regret working with me. I'm good when it comes to acting. Oh, shoot, I'm not supposed to be here. I'm supposed to be a runaway bride. So here's the thing: I will leave you here and get changed while you go to the director. I will find you there."

"I thought you would never stop talking. Are you out of your mind? This is a wedding. You and I just got married. This is fucking crazy." He ran his hand through his hair and took off his tie.

I stumbled back a bit and pinched myself, hoping I was dreaming. And the sad part is, I wasn't dreaming. I really did get married to this sexy Greek God that was standing right in front of me. Wait, I'm married.
