Chapter 7

Michael pushed open the door and saw a familiar view of someone’s back before he went into the ward.

He was stunned immediately as if his whole body was struck by lightning. His eyes were staring straight at Christina’s back, and his fingers were shaking.

Michael had imagined countless scenes on how he would with Christina again, but he never thought of her taking a spoon and feeding another man.

Besides, that man was also looking at her affectionately, the man’s eyes were filled with desire that only a man could understand.

Matthew had come across many girls before, and he was very particular about the features of a girl. He had never batted an eye on Christina before because she always wore huge sunglasses and her character was bland and annoying.

When Sean, his brother, introduced her to the job, Matthew did not reject him, and he let her stay because he respected Sean.

First impressions lasted the longest, so he thought that she was someone ugly and submissive, someone not worthy of the big stage.

Matthew had no interest in this kind of woman.

However, at such a close distance, he discovered Christina’s hidden side.

Matthew cursed Sean in his heart because Sean did not tell him how gorgeous Christina was.

Especially since such a stunning lady was by his side for two months, and he did not realize it. What a waste!

It was a shame to waste it!

Matthew was scolding Sean in his heart while staring at Christina’s face. Suddenly, he wanted to have a look at her without her spectacles, so he exhaled hot air onto her spectacles.

The white mist covered her lenses, and she was irritated. She took off her specs and shouted angrily, “Are you out of your mind?”

He did not care that she scolded him as he looked like a hungry wolf that spotted its prey.

Gorgeous!

Such beauty!

Christina was stunning even though she did not have any makeup on her!

He swallowed his saliva and instantly started flirting with her. “Christina, you’re so pretty. I’m in love with you.”

She was startled for a second and immediately put on her specs to block his pervy sight.

Matthew had locked on to his prey, how could he let her off so easily? He sat up straight and leaned toward her. “Christina, you smell so good.”

Christina moved her body backward as she felt a chill run down her spine, she was full of goosebumps.

He continued to lean forward. “Christina, don’t you ever wear specs again. I want to look at your face every day.”

Christina was furious with his flirting, but she did not dare to anger her superior, so she could only control her anger and asked, “Do you still want to eat? If not, I’m throwing this in the dustbin.”

She had an angelic voice. It was soft and sweet, even in a frustrating tone, it was like a flirty little girl.

“I’ll eat it! Christina, I’ll finish it for sure!” Matthew looked at her idiotically and opened his mouth, waiting for her to feed him

At the door, Michael clenched his fist tightly and gritted his teeth like they were going to break.

He could not bear the mental abuse, so he turned and went out to the corridor. Later, he punched the wall with such a heavy blow that caused debris to fall off.

It turned out she had found a new guy.

If he had known earlier that she was so heartless, why did he need to endure this suffering for three years hoping in her from the beginning!

After he went out of the hospital, he hit the car’s accelerator hard. His car disappeared in the traffic like a flash of black lightning.

Matthew received Serena’s call halfway through. “Matthew, where are you?”

“What?” He answered with an angry tone, impatiently.

“My daddy said we could arrange a family meeting. When are you free?” Serena heard that he was in a bad mood, but she still finished her sentences.

Serena thought he would reject her. However, she did not expect Michael would readily accept it.

“I’ve got time tonight.” He said, “We’ll settle our marriage, too!”

“That’s great!” Serena was so happy that she jumped up because she had never thought it would proceed so smoothly. “I’ll arrange it with my daddy.”

Matthew’s injuries were not serious, and he could be dismissed from the hospital the next day, but he chose to stay at the hospital.

Ever since he discovered that Christina was a beautiful girl, he liked the way that Christina took care of him and he was more interested in her day after day.

As the saying went, the fox preyed farthest from home. However, Matthew had no such care at all. Wherever there was a prey, he would go for it.

Since the specky girl suited his taste, how could he let her go?

After feeding him for several days, Christina finally realized there was a problem. His hands were not injured, and so he was doing it on purpose.

She was furious, and she went to hire a fifty-year-old middle-aged aunt as his caregiver, who was responsible for feeding him only.

He was disgusted, and he almost vomited the food he had for the past one month. “Christina, I want you to feed me, personally. If not, I’m going to deduct half of your yearly salary! Also, I’ll fire you!”

To avoid his torture, Christina had no choice but to change his caregiver. She purposely picked a youthful and pretty girl, with huge boobs and booty that suited his taste.

After that, she tried her best not to show up in the ward and let them have their own time.

Nevertheless, Matthew did not buy it. Every time she went out of the ward for ten minutes, he would insanely call her and force her to serve him.

Matthew was the boss, so she had to go back to the ward unwillingly. Matthew even unexpectedly made a more demanding request, which he wanted her to stay in the hospital and accompany him 24/7!

Christina did everything she could, although Matthew made things hard for her, it was only on work-related matters, and he did not do anything to her privately.

However, right now he obviously wanted to chase her and she could not bear it.

Finally, when he tiptoed to her back and he was ready to kiss her by surprise. She slapped him hard and left five red finger marks on his face.
