Chapter 8 The Make Up Date

'Simone pov'

I am currently looking through my clothes. Debating of what I should wear. I woke up in a good mood today. Hmm I wonder why Simone.

I looked at the clock and it was seven o'clock. And I have an hour left to get ready.

I looked at my reflection at the mirror. I'm not that ugly nor that beautiful. But i'm beautiful in my own way. That is what my parents always said to me.

I was their princess. But they're not here anymore. I miss them so much.

I didn't know I was crying untill a tear touched my cheek. Wiping my tears I went on looking for something to wear.

Clothes after clothes. I looked back to my bed and saw my bed was stacked with clothes. So I decided to wear a long red dress. It had a slit on the right side that showed a little bit of skin.

I told Amy today that i'm going out with Andrew and if she could drop me off at the restaurant he told me. And she agreed.

I hope he shows up and not like yesterday. That would be embarrassing. Or maybe this is a prank. Or maybe he did this out of pitty. Oh yeah he did this out of pitty. Or maybe he think i'm too thin or poor to him.

I mean i'm not poor nor rich. I live comfortable. Amy's parents Allison Hayes and Roman Hayes are like my second parents. They basically adopted me. So they are my parents after all.

I didn't tell you Amy's surname did I. Her surname is Hayes. Sometimes people asked me why my surname is King and not Queen. Lol.

Shaking my thoughts. I looked at myself in the mirror and I gotta say I looked beautiful in this dress. I got this dress from Amy's mom. I mean mom.

I decided not to wear any make up because it's dark outside and nobody's going to see me. I put only lipgloss and mascara. It's still make up stupid. One last look in the mirror and I was done.

I went out of my room and saw Amy sitting in the living room watching tv.

"Boooh you bitch!". I screamed and jumped. I laughed hard enough that there were tears coming out of my eyes.

"Simone I hate you". She hissed at me. Those words stung my heart.

"You hate me?". I asked in a low voice. I stopped laughing.

"No I didn't mean it like that babes. I love you. But sometimes you're annoying. But I love you with all my heart". She said fast in one breath when she saw the hurtfull eyes.

"Anyways I have two points and you still one". I said pointing my finger at her. She just rolled her eyes.

"Amy can you drop me off at the restaurant now?". I asked. She nodded.

"Just let me wear something. I'm going out too". She said. I frowned.

"Your going out? With who?". I asked. She just giggled.

"I'm going out with Giann. His family invited us to dinner". She said.

Giann is her boyfriend's name and they've been together for 1,5 years. Yup and it's still going strong. Giann is like a brother to me.

He's like a brother that I don't have, anymore. He's good looking and perfect for Amy.

I nodded.

"When are you coming home?" I asked. She just shrugged.

"Maybe i'm going to give him some actions tonight". She said wiggling her eyebrows. My face scrunched in disgust.

"Euw stop it that's gross. TMI dumbass!". I said putting my hands over my ears. She just laughed.

I looked at the clock and saw I have fiftheen minutes left. I looked at Amy and she's still standing there like a statue.

"Amy come on. Hurry up". She went to her room as fast as possible and came out wearing a beautiful flowy dress.

"Okay let's go". She said. I nodded. When we were in the car and on the way to the restaurant.

"Thank you Amy. You're the best". I looked back at Amy as we arrived.

"You are very much welcome babes. Call me if something happens okay". She said nodding.

"And have fun". She continued as I stepped out the car.

"I will. I love you bye". I nodded.

Stepping out of her car I waved at Amy before walking inside. I was greeted by the doorman. Saying thank you, I looked around and saw only fancy people.

It looks like I don't belong here. Walking inside and searched the place.

"Hello how can I help you". The girl said smiling at me.

"Do you have a reservation?". She asked. I nodded my head. As if she could read my mind. I was lost.

"Uhm yes. I have a reservation under the name....Andrew Knight?". I said nervously. I don't know what to say.

"Ooh yeah right this way miss". She said. Oh thank God I didn't say something stupid. Following her I saw Andrew already sitting there looking handsome as ever.

"Here you go". She said and then looking at Andrew with a flirty smile. Rolling my eyes.

But Andrew wasn't paying attention to her. He just dismissed her. When he saw me I stood there awkwardly looking at my feet.

Before he could pull my chair for me. I did it myself and sit on it.

"Uh hey how are you". He asked smiling awkwardly. Like actually smiling not smirking like he always do.

"Uhm i'm good thank you". I said smiling shyly.

Then a waiter came.

"Good evening what drinks can I get you two started with". He said looking at me from head to toe. Like i'm some kind of snack? It made me uncomfortable though.

"I'll just have some water". I said ignoring his stare. I looked at Andrew and saw he's giving the waiter a deadly glare.

"Make that two and stop staring at my date". Andrew said gritting his teeth.

The waiter finally looked at Andrew and his eyes widened. Then he walked away as fast as he could.

"So what was that about". I asked him.

"Nothing". He said coldly and that made my heart clench.

"Here is you water and are you two ready to order?" The waiter asked. I looked up and it was another waiter.

"I'll have some pasta with a salad on the side". I said. That is the less expensive food here. Because everything here is expensive.

"And i'll have some mashed patato with steak and some gravy on the side". Andrew said. The waiter left.

"I'm sorry I stood you up yesterday. I was caught up with something". Andrew said. Ha caught up with something or you were fucking someone.

Shaking my thought and said. "It's okay. No problem".

"Thank you so much. You can help me tomorrow with math after school?". He asked. I nodded.

"Okay". I said. The waiter came with our food and left.

We were eating silently then we were talking. About random stuff. I learned more about him.

He's going to be a CEO when he's 21 years old. That is so cool. I got to see his real side. Not the spoiled rich kid I see at school. He's actually genuinely humble.

But i'm not in love with him because of his money. I love him for who he is.

It was fun actually. After some time it was already 11 o'clock. So we decided to go home. He dropped me off and walked me to my apartment.

"Thank you for the dinner Andrew. I had so much fun tonight". I said.

"No problem babe". He said smiling before kissing my cheek. I blushed and looked down.

"Goodnight Simone". He said.

"Goodnight Andrew". I said still blushing. When he drove away I went straight to my room and took a shower before going to bed.

I went to bed with a smile on my face and held my cheek where he kissed.
