Chapter Four

Looking at myself in a black knee-length pencil skirt and a burgundy shirt tucked in with my black loafers in the mirror, I looked so professional and beautiful.

My hair was gelled up in a ponytail, and I applied a little powder on my face and then lipgloss, I made toast with egg as breakfast.

I had to leave my house earlier so that I wouldn't miss the early morning train, on getting to the train station I had to wait for ten minutes before the train arrived.

Looking at the building of my new workplace I couldn't still believe that I'll be working here now and earning higher.

I got to the front desk at exactly 7:35 AM and the secretary was already in her seat.

"Good morning" I smiled at her

"Good morning dear, I remember you" She looked at me closely while I was trying to give her my best smile.

"You were one of those that were interviewed, weren't you?" 

"Yes I was and I'm lucky I got the job"

"So that means you're Elizabeth Smith" She gave an amused smile 

"Yes I am"

"Okay you'll have to go to the last floor, that's where you'll be working with the CEO. I'll just hand over some files to you now"

I stared dumbfounded at the documents she was stacking up, I was just resuming and there was a lot of work awaiting me.

"Your office is right by the side of the CEO's office," she said while handing over the files to me. "Meanwhile the boss is in the office".

My heart was pounding hard as I was riding the elevator to the office.

The elevator door opened to a nicely decorated corridor, there were three rooms, two with large double doors and a single door. 

There was a designated waiting area for visitors by the end of the corridor. Everything here was beige.

I hurried to the door where the sign 'CEO' had, I knocked and awaited a response but none came, I knocked again but no response so I opened the door a little and peeped inside.

I was marveled by how the interior looked, the room was wide and was painted grey.

In the middle of the room was a large desk and a chair behind the desk was a full-length window overlooking the city.

I moved into the room fully to see there was a sofa by the right of the door and a file cabinet beside the sofa. There was another door in the room but I do not know where it was leading to.

I was too engrossed in the look of the office to notice my boss staring at me until I heard him clear his throat.

"Good morning sir" I stuttered looking down at my feets 

"Look who decided to show up at work, I'm sure you were told to resume by 8:00, please what says the time?"

I checked my wristwatch to see it was 8:10

"I was here earlier but you weren't in the office," I said looking up at him

"So I'm the late one now," he said looking at me with annoyance 

"I didn't say that sir" I looked down "I'm sorry it won't repeat itself".

"It won't because if it does you'll be fired," he said while returning to his desk. He gathered some files and gave them to me

"Arrange those in an orderly manner and bring them back to me but before you do that go make me a cup of coffee".

"On the other hand come here" He signaled for me to come sit on his lap. I was too scared to move forward 

"Don't be scared" he said with a smile 

Slowly I walked towards him while he looked at me like I was his next meal, I got to his table and he dragged me to his lap I could feel his boner under me.

"You are so sexy" he whispered into my ear, he started sucking on my neck, trailing kisses slowly to my neckbone. I let out a whimper when he harshly sucked on my shoulder.

He progressed to raising my skirts and running his hands on my lap meanwhile I was unconsciously grinding him, I heard him moan at the back of his throat.

He was aggressively kissing me now like he wanted all of me at once. The kiss was good too good but something clicked and I returned to my right senses.

"I'm sorry sir I can't do this," he said trying to catch my breath. He looked so annoyed

"Okay then get out of my office and get me my coffee," he said harshly

I left the office trying to arrange my blouse and skirt thinking to myself such an arrogant jerk, firstly he kisses me then he's talking rudely to me, and he didn't even tell me where I'll be getting coffee from.

I went into my office and was surprised to see it was very nice and comfortable with a computer in it, that means that I'll have a lot of work to do. I wasn't complaining though.

I rode the elevator down to ask the secretary where I could find the kitchen and you can imagine the anger I felt when she told me it was back on my floor.

I wouldn't have hurt him if he told me where the kitchen was, I finally located the kitchen and it was stocked up with food.

After boiling the hot water I realized that I didn't know how he liked his coffee so I just made him a black coffee with little sugar.

I held the cup carefully while opening the door to his office.

"What took you so looked?" His voice boomed which made me spill a little bit of the coffee on my shirt.

"I'm sorry sir I didn't know where the kitchen was" I apologized and placed the coffee on his desk.

He sipped a little bit of coffee and hummed in satisfaction 

"How did you know how I like my coffee?" He asked in astonishment 

"I just guessed" I patted myself on the back mentally.

"It's nice" he smiled 

Of course, it's nice I worked in a coffee shop I thought 

"What did you say?"

Oh shit, did I say that out loud?

"Nothing sir" 

"Okay, you have a job to do don't stand there looking at me" He went back to his arrogant self.

I left his office to mine and I immediately felt my cheeks reddening due to the compliment he gave me. He looked human when he complimented me, who knew he had a nice side.

I got into sorting out the files I was given, it was a lot, and 30 minutes in I wasn't done yet.

The telephone in my office suddenly rang and I was scared to death, I picked up the call.

"Do I have any meetings today?" I realized it was Mr. Walker talking

"Uhm sir I don't know"

"Okay there's an iPad in the drawer on your desk, it contains my schedules. When you find out let me know".

I scanned through his schedule and saw he had two appointments today, packing the files because I was done arranging I headed to his office.

"You have two appointments today, one will be held in the boardroom by noon and the other will be held at Chikky's Restaurant by 3:00 PM" I read them out.

"Okay, you going to be with me for all meetings to take notes of important things said, wherever I go you go," he told me and I was horrified.

"Now go get ready we have a meeting to attend" he dismissed me.

I turned to leave his office and I could feel his eyes on my butt.
